I think hiding Chunhee's death has been WS's idea in the first place. I think it was episode 3 with the family picture but I think it was said she didn't want people know the Angel of Chariry lost her child while on a trip so hid it and said he went to a boarding school.

I noticed that too. Don't think ever heard anyone having that accent. Funny that she was so eager to talk English like some person practicing their speaking skills at every chance they get. 🤣

Personally I don't mind religious or any such things in a drama as long as it's relevant not sticking out like a sore thumb as it's the case here.🤣🤣


Hollywood has only shown Asian as Chinese, Indians and Arabs in their most basic and typical appearances and tropes since forever, now Korean are so deep into their copying that they're employing the same clichés. Persian Gulf princes throwing around their petro dollars like mad, no philippians in Manila (this was discussed a lot), A Western Asia criminal organization and lastly showing Africa as the symbol of poverty. I've already made a comment about this one, how she met her husband doing charity there, sending vaccine there and having black children at her foundation home looking all white. 😖😬🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't want the hubby dead but usually when they have this kind of broken characters with too much trauma, they would kill them off. Also, mother, despite her constant physical and mental abuses seem to love him in her twisted way, the kind you see from evil parents, maybe his death would be her punishment. She prides herself in building an empire to give to her son but all goes awry and he's dead anyway. Makes her confided and a mad house for the rest of her days screaming at the wall. 🤯🤯

Thanks for pointing it out,I wanted to do so several times but forgot. This is a melodrama with a touch of action, there's no need to involve something so out of the place and unrelated.



They just wanted to make an action plot for WS and DY's bloody meet cute and later blame the drone attack on and chose the most BS one while they could've easily insert a local gangster group. Koreans love making Harbin aliens all sort of criminals, should've gone with that.


Like a formerly huge powerful multi-national terrorist organization with billions of funds now dismantled and distributed to the smaller parts whose MO is mass murder a/or blowing themselves up in a crowd would suddenly care to assassinate a single priviledged lady from across the world who'd asked for the supreme court to act. As if anyone would listen to her. 🤦🏻‍♀️😬😬 First time I saw it I burst out laughing from how preposterous it was. Completely unnecessary

I would be very hopeful had they not shown that out of the place, out of the blue fastforward scene with the murder scene at with living room, then forget everything about it.

He had his child when he was single. Junhee was born before their marriage. KYG grew up in an immoral household, his mom practically thrusted her affair into his face and his dad supposedly died during intercourse (he may have had affair of his own if they could get away with this lie) and he's mentally and emotionally lacking. Not knowing what the real love and affection is, he doesn't understand it needs fidelity and commitmemt. So for him some one night stands now and then or a half hearted affair is nothing earth shattering. His mother was the same, look how she said I though it's a fling but you're being a fool in love. If we see it from his twisted perspective, it's actually not weird how he wonders what wrong he has done while cheating is a horrible wrong itself.😬😖

You're right but he used the word "donation" not leaving a fortune to her person, what baffles me is that can this be personal wealth? A reddit comment said if she divorces now, her hubby would get half of it by the law.

This is like something what I wrote in my comment and erased. She's daughter of a mistress or a 2nd wife (they said her mom isn't on the family registry) so she doesn't feel bad having extramartial relationships as long as she lives a comfortable life with her child and her lover by her side, most probably she grew up this way. Her problem is that she dated KYG when he was single and had his child but stayed aside while he got engaged twice and finally married another. We don't know whether they had an affair during all this time or rekindled it, likely after Chunhee's death when WS and YG supposedly drifted apart, but she's becoming greedy. She wants marriage, another legitimate child and recognition for her son.

Sadly they haven't had any scenes together after ep. 3 but in their short scenes, he didn't seem particularly interested in her, he followed her reluctantly, he didn't even let her kiss him on the lips and he was like "You want s*x, alright, get over it quickly so I can leave.!" And he's not faithful to her either. As you said, she loves him and wants his love but she's looking in the wrong place.

We saw OWS with bloody splashed clothes sitting there looking ... well, like normal🤷🏻‍♀️ but as much as I want mr. Han dead, he's better off at the prison and his death wouldn't shock her much unless something else happens.

I've forgotten whether they mention how long he's been in coma or not but as much as SW might dislike DW, he wouldn't want his brother to return after a long hiatus to get everything he's built during this time. It's quite possible he's getting rid of the old people in the name of corruption and replace them with his own supporter to have his back when it comes to choosing the new president.
