What do you mean? The son was 15? The actor? The character? What? Either way, this is a fictional story; he was…
I feel uneasy while watching every violent scene where they use ACTUAL kid actors doesn’t matter if this is rape, bullying, murder and so on. Also just FYI example you claim “I fantasized “ it’s actual movie plot. It’s called Hope and it is based on true events. It’s great movie and young actresses did amazing job but still it’s somehow disturbing to watch kid in such scenes. But think whatever helps you feel better. This will be my last comment. Bye

I just did what you did to Gina. You literally wrote “ You are prude who has issues with sex….”. Because you twisted her position. Her comment was not about sex scene between minor and adult used in the movie - she had a problem with using actual minor in the sex scene. So it is ok to twisting and exaggerating her words but it’s not ok if this is about you? Also I was “comparing” 6 yo to 15 yo because you wrote “it makes no difference how old he is/was/will be”. He was acting in the rape scene with adult actress and it is ok. But if I reverse situation and use adult actor and younger actress in rape scene suddenly I am off-kilter? What changed? It’s not ok because I used reverse sex? Age doesn’t matter - you words not mine. I personally think 6yo actress, 15 yo actor and adult actor don’t have the equal level of comprehension and coping with what is going on during work on the set. Even if they use staging, directing and so on like you said. But I see you will never get that point. Adult actors and kid actors are not equal for me but it looks like when camera is on they magically become equal to you. So it’s pointless to waste our time .In my previous post I addressed to how it makes me feel to read what you said in your comments to Gina but I see that calling other names and being all hyped it is the only way you can respond to people. Against your rude words I will use your quote “ The usual cheap-shot is the last resort of someone losing the argument”. Bye

Minor actor is not an adult actor. There is a difference. Just read some articles about child actors and how most of them ended up. Their mental health if fragile. They are still learning how to cope with some situations. For a reason we are using age boundaries and so on for some movies. Kids physically and mentally are not the same as adults so if you are saying that it is ok for any kid to take a part in rape scenes, incest, violent scenes and so on because he is just “acting” and it will not affect him in any way there is something not right here. There is a difference between asking adult to take part in some scenes and asking a minor. If this was a movie with violent, graphic sex scenes between 6 year old girl and 60 yo guy it will be also ok because they are just pretending? You don’t think it would be somehow disturbing for that girl even if it was just acting? Do you seriously think she would comprehend it like an adult that it is just an act?I also understand he is an actor but even adult actors sometimes are saying that some scenes were so disturbing and they needed to take a break and cool off. And sometimes even adult actors find it hard to separate acting from reality. Sorry but for me the way you attacked that girl and called her “prude” because she didn’t like actual minor acting in sex scenes is disturbing and sickening. Since when watching kids in sexual content scenes is showing that you are sexually liberated? Are you serious?

I guess this wouldn't be a Japanese movie if somebody didn't die at the end. Most romance related movies from…
Yeah. It is true that I don't watch much japanese romantic movies. But it was not the point of my previous comment. In my comment I wanted to explain that in my opinion ML wound could be deadly because you wrote you are "not buing it". I agree with SakuraPrincess comment. I work as a nurse and sometimes I work with patients with stab wounds. It does not have to be deep stab to get major bleeding if main artery was punctured by the point of the knife. It takes only few minutes to bleed out. People do stupid decisions in a situations like that - like pulling out the knife and so on. So in my opinion ML stab wound and behaviour looked quite convincing and I can belive it could be deadly. My opinion was just based on my work knowledge and not my knowledge of romantic japanese movies. Also I don't get the point of your comment about me obviously not watching as much japanese romantic movies as you do. Even if, so what? So I can't have opinion about that movie or my opinion is not valid? My previous comment wasn't responding to your experience with japanese movies endings. You watched so many of them and you wroted yourself that 9/10 had sad ending with ML dying so I just don't get why are you annoyed if you deliberetly watch japanese movies knowing that? Shouldn't you be used to it? I don't get your logic. It's like watching movies when someone give you a hint "the buttler did it" and you are still anoyed at the end of the movie that it was not the maid.

I agree with you. I adored this movie too. Besides I like all the movies/drama with Suda Masaki. He is incredibly good actor. If he is in the cast I know it will be good because he is trying his best🙂

I think it was love since the start - they both just didn't realize it. Many times it was hinted in the movie. "What's with her glittering eyes? Is this love?..How in the world would I be in love with virgin jellyfish nerd, anyway?" He was clearly jealous when his brother hug her and he separated them. He was confused by his own actions "why of all people would I feel pissed seeing two virgins romantic scene?". He even wanted to kiss her as some point. When he noticed that she liked his brother he steped away. While he helped her prepare for a date with his brother he asked with sad face "are you really going?" It looked like he wanted her to stay with him but only if she choose by herself to stay with him. She was in love too. Even before this fashion show. Look at her her face when it was raining and he showed up with umbrella. His voice calling her from despair, she looked at him mesmerized and for a moment train was in "slow motion" like in the romantic movies. On a date with brother she noticed that she was talking only about Kuranosuke. So I think that they will be together even if director didn't show it. Like you said they accept each other. Also I think he said clearly that he only likes to dress as a girl - not that he wants to be a girl. His mother liked fashion. He was separated from her in a young age - this dresses and jewelry were only things that she left - so wearing them helped him feel closer to his mother. So it is only my opinion but I don't think he is gay or transgender.

The storyline was so promising! I loved the love story between Asuka and Kaito! Why did Kaito return to Misora…
Well, Misora did it because she was hurt and she wanted for once to make him go after her, prove that he cares. He was cold towards her, she was always the one that initiated the contact. She thought that he deosn't love her or care about her. She didn't knew that he was dying and he was cold toward her because he wanted to be hated by her - wanted her to suffer less after his death.
He returned with Misora because they finally knew other person feelings and probably forgave each other, they understand why they both behave in certain way. Also if he did not do that he would dissapear forever (not only his body but also his soul) - because it was his mission to bring her back. He went to heaven. Think positive - if reincarnation exists I think that he and Asuka will find each other again ;)

Judging from the amount of blood - killer hit main artery. Probably there was no chance to save ML even if he would call for help. He would probably die anyway because he was bleeding excesivly and he was in the middle of nowhere. That knife was a pluger that was preventing blood from geting out but in the moment that killer pull it out ML was doomed. The amount of blood on the knife is not important because it could be wipe out durring pulling it out. Also he probably was in shock, people tend to do stupid things durring situations like that, not thinking clearly. So in my opinion it was realistic. His death was random but that is life. You never know what will happen. I think than none of the killer victims is geting out from home thinking - maybe some guy will kill me today . You always think you will come back safe and sound. So that scene was even more realistic. Killers are not reasonable people - they make stupid excuses to kill someone so was that killer.

Man I didnt see that comiiing whyyyyy =(The whole time he was looking at her pictures im like call the daaaamn…
Judging from the amount of blood and how quick he was blleding out killer cut main artery. Rei was smart guy so he probably knew that was fatal injury and because he was in the middle of nowhere there was no chance to save him on time or maybe he was in shock and wasn't thinking clearly so he never thought he could call for help.
It was so heartbreaking to watch him die - he was my favourite character. I wanted him to be happy with her and not die like that. This movie broke my heart into 1000 pieces.

It was my first time seeing Joe Cheng acting and I feel in love with his character. He played his part perfectly. He was flirty, charismatic and adorable in the same time. The chemistry between him and Ella was undeniable. I was so happy when they plant a seed of doubt near the end of the drama. I was rooting for them to end up together. I also loved older sister character- she was smart and she cared about them so much - only acting cold and distant. Only person I didn’t like was ML. He was boring. He had no chemistry with FL and the way he treated her was awful. It was annoying.Like Kui said he was a coward who couldn’t admit his feelings and torment her with his actions.
