For me it was the case' solving, I felt like it was a bit rushed. The psychiatrist/psychologist had an enlightenment and five minutes later the case was closed. Between "each" case I felt like I missed an episode, I had to double check everytime just to be sure it was not the site where I watched it that had missing episodes. So maybe for you this could be it.

Yes thank you. Like morally grey character are the best. I could write everything about them for hours, because it's this type of representation I want to see. Like yeah some actions were f*cked up, but some others not, like defining a regular line is boriiiiing.

I think it's pretty similar. They didn't go so far from the manga in my opinion.

There is a manga with the same name, very short. But be aware that you might be spoiled some thing if you follow the subbed episodes only, because it's really short, so everything move fast in the manga. I don't know about a novel.
