That’s one of my favorite lines 😂 The subtitle translated it as “I’m a healthy man”, and I was glad I’ve learned enough Chinese to know the direct translation sounds so much funnier. I wonder if TJC knows how funny it is in English, but ofc it’s funny in Chinese too. He’s so good at comedy.

Agree with the above! Filter is absolutely hilarious. Under the Skin 1 & 2 are very good and I'm not someone who normally likes crime dramas. Love Me Love My Voice is perfect for when you just want to relax with good vibes. I also thought Are You Safe was a fun show.

It's worth checking out Lost You Forever to see him as Xiang Liu. The show wasn't really my cup of tea, but I loved that character. And many people liked the show a lot more than I did, so you might too.

Also, if you're talking about the most recent episodes, the tea eggs were for his help with her studying. He came up with a whole study plan for her, spent time tutoring her, and she was delighted to do something as easy to her as make tea eggs in return. I think that was more than fair, in fact it seemed like he spent more effort there than she did.

As others have pointed it, he pays her for it and she agreed to it. Hardly a "house slave" situation, more like a win-win. She gets money, he gets chores done. Or he does something to help her out and she repays him by cooking or cleaning.

He's paying her for it and doing things to help her out in return. And she loves cooking. I really don't get the problem with this.

Yeah, posting that video was really stupid. Most companies have strict policies about social media. Employees can't just post whatever they want, ESPECIALLY not something humiliating to important clients. I'm having to suspend disbelief that she wasn't immediately fired.

I agree, that was idiotic of her. Her comment about how she did this without regard to her own reputation made me laugh because what about YOUR FRIEND'S reputation?

That proposal scene was crazy to me. Who finds a ring in her boyfriends pocket and thinks "He's cheating!" instead of "He's about to propose!" Way to leap to conclusions, lady. It made me think she'd be exhausting to have as a partner.

I just scrolled through the comments and mostly saw positive ones, between the AI comments which I agree are annoying. There's also a little bit of episode discussion, and I'm sure people would be willing to engage with you if you started some. Just watched episode 13, and I'm loving the show! It's funny enough and the leads are doing such a great job that I don't care about the AI at all. We're not supposed to like that character anyway, and I'm focusing on what I do love, like how Tan Jianci and Wang Churan are killing it in their roles.
