I liked Ziyu's when he said that he's gonna tell Xueji about her past too and that he wants a peace ( looking at Xueji's eating), showed her his favourite part of the palace but it wasn't last long. I pity Xueji, doing all that for the emperor and yet she had to witnessed how he is hurting because of LMT.

As for the leads, the most reason why I'm believing that LMT is inlove for CXZ because of the needle hairpin (not sure for the correct name) despite of her no shown emotions (care, concern, etc) infront of CXZ.

But as the episode goes on, I'm really rooting for Xueji. I feel like Xueji steal the show for me. I'm not saying I don't like LMT, what I mean is as her temperament and intelligence no one can bully her, so need to worry. Therefore I'm rooting for Xueji.

You can finish the Donghua in one go actually AHAHHA it was so short, 30 episodes with 5 mins per episode. less the intro and ending so I think 3mins at most 😂

It was really super good, I can even say (agreed with others) that the leads characters was definitely made for Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo. No one can play excellently the role except for them, the perfect execution of acting was superb. Nevertheless, it was still in you, but you can try 2-5 episodes.
