I'm enjoying the empress character, I would like her to be a bit bad ass to shut off these evil people near her. I'm hoping to see that the emperor would genuinely love her too. And her character would not change to an evil one later on. This made up for the less moment of the leads AHAHHA

Episode 1-5 made me watched it at 1.5 speed, I've felt slow paced at that timespan. I only enjoyed it when the action started and thriller is thrilling. And oh my fav scene is Seong- a and Ui seon fight scene - just wow 👏. Of course not to mention, Go Min Si acting was superb, she excellently did her character alive and justified.

You’re right, it’s starting to drag. The last four episodes have more and more of Ziyu. The leads barely met.
it's became harder and harder in part to stay watching at 1.25 speed only (it stays like that during the leads screen time only) and the rest 1.5 😂

As I've said before, episode 1 to 16 is not boring but it slow paced and I will only enjoy it after the deceiving part revealed. But sadly to say, even after the latter was revealed it was till slow paced when it comes to the leads. And personally , at some point I'm not only feels it as slow paced but also draggy 🥺 Anyway it was my personal opinion.
