playful kiss/s ML isn't as cool or flirty or awesome as the ML here. in playful kiss he remains quite the annoying ever stone faced ahole, whereas here once the ML is smitten he changes completely.

What's S+? This drama was really good, tied the plot really well, didn't have annoying characters, draggy story nor did it have plotholes...all things which 90% of cdramas suffer from and get ruined by. It was really really well done from the point of technicalities. The story was cute and the characters were well portrayed. This is a 10 drama for me considering all these. :)

i don't think she was lacking in acting, people forget that the character of Tong Yao was a bit introverted and grumpy and with an expression of "deer n headlights". i found her cute and adorable. Far above the usual chinese FLs who are down right annoying with their childish annoying attitudes. She wasn't childish. Just reserved but also brazen and bold at the same time. I think she did a really good job at portraying Tong Yao.
