As much as I know the novel has a happy ending but even though the characters are pretty much the same as the series, the subject of the novel is quite different. I have been reading it in wattpad since the series ended last year but since the translator is a student so the translation is a bit slow, but still it's a great novel and translation.
YASS... Happy ending :,) I was legit crying when everyone left Thun alone at the cemetery and the damn music which I love at the background is the one played in Sotus and then he came back... I am crying and laughing at the same time and my parents gonna kill me because I might have woken up everyone in the house. There is a lot to say about this gorgeous story but my words wouldn't be enough to explain my thoughts. I'm just thankful for everyone who tried their best to produce this series and the people who uploaded the videos online, subbed it for us to watch. Ps: I was on the floor laughing with tears in my eyes when Khiem saw Ngoon :D
I might be reaching far but I just saw a comment on Twitter saying "they're just pure-hearted boys who both lost someone they loved 4 years ago" and it made me think what if the woman police officer was the person gang leader was talking about at the bride. Like they were a couple and he was trying to change his life for her but then they died together. Well, she looked rather young in the photo but it makes sense since Shao Fei and Tang Yi are gonna be in the same situation as them.
