I'm not from South Korea—just an ordinary viewer from another country who enjoys Korean dramas and follows the entertainment industry. This is simply my perspective from the outside.

One thing I've never fully understood is how quickly some celebrities' careers can be put at risk over school violence allegations, sometimes based on events that allegedly happened many years ago. If there is solid evidence of serious wrongdoing, then accountability is absolutely necessary. But if allegations are exaggerated, unverified, or based on ordinary childhood conflicts, it's unfair to destroy someone's entire future before the truth is established.

Sometimes the claims themselves sound difficult to believe. For example, stories of someone being continuously assaulted for an hour without anyone intervening naturally raise questions. Every allegation deserves to be investigated carefully rather than accepted or rejected immediately.

I'm not referring to any specific case here—I'm speaking in general. If someone truly experienced serious bullying, they deserve justice and support. But justice should come through facts and proper investigation, not by public opinion alone.

What I find most heartbreaking is that many idols spend years training, sacrificing their youth, and working incredibly hard just to debut. Their careers can be destroyed overnight by allegations before the full story is known. Imagine graduating after years of struggle, finally landing your dream job, and then losing everything because of something someone claimed happened during your school days decades ago. Regardless of whether you're a celebrity or an ordinary person, that would be devastating.

I understand that South Korean society may have very high expectations regarding school violence, especially for public figures. That's completely understandable. However, I also hope there is room for fairness, due process, and proportionality. People can make mistakes when they're young, and not every childhood conflict should become a life sentence that erases years of hard work.

This isn't an attack on South Korea or its people. It's simply an observation from an international fan who hopes that genuine victims receive justice while innocent people—or those whose past mistakes have been exaggerated or misrepresented—are not condemned without sufficient evidence. Compassion and fairness should apply to everyone.
