Because of the CCP censorship on reincarnation story that why the author who also the screenwriter have change the plots a little bit . Besides I don’t think when we reincarnated we remain the same as our past lives. I don’t agree with you about their relationship being frigid we’re only 14eps in still 16 episodes left a lots can happen. Also Yuan Shuai and ZSC are completely different in personality so we can’t expect the same kinds of effects as Love is Sweet.

Honestly I Really don’t see what is the big deal about the kissing screens or no kissing !! I only watch up to 6eps and all the teaser & bts because I’m waiting to bing watch it once it all aired. So far from the teaser and bts they both looks really cute and have good chemistry. I guess we all have reason not to watch an certain actors just because.For me I refuse to watch LAR or any dramas with Cheng Yi in it because of the way he treated Crystal Yuan .

@ syupsang Sorry EVEN IF that big IF he does use body double I really don’t see what the difference if the actress do intimidate scene with Allen or Any Random guy it not like they are in an real relationship! I honestly don’t care about the kissing screens as much as the actors doing an good job of portraying the character .

@Alila Nguyen Sorry I can’t show you the bts of them actually kissing or not because they didn’t upload it. I only read 4 chapters of the novel because I wanted to enjoy the drama version without the expectation from the novel version to drama . I really don’t understand why the novel is different from the drama since the screens whiter is also the author,maybe they have to makes changes so the drama to have better flows or because of the CCP censorship issues. Either ways I really don’t have problems with Allen kissing screens or no actually kissing .For me the reason I mostly watch Asian dramas vs Westerns shows is because of the relationship in Asian dramas are more sweet and gentle not like Westerns shows where they have sax on the first date. I have an feeling that we’re going to have the same decisions in all Allen coming dramas with the kissing scenes issues.

I honestly don’t know why peoples are complaining how slow and awkward the relationship is but this is the first time both of them in an relationship. SC never been in love and all ZSC care about before SY is his researches . I watch all of Allen dramas and the no real kissing didn’t really brother me because I think his acting makes up for it.

I really don’t minded the character of ZSC like most comment describe here as naive and timid . ZSC is an person that before meeting SY all he care about is his study and research so how is he supposed to have knowledge about dating or handling of family business . I don’t know why the ZSC in the novel is different then the drama ZSC since the Arthur is also the screenwriter for this drama. I try to either read the novel or watch the drama but never both because it drove me nuts comparing the details in the book to the drama 9/10 it not always the exact same. I don’t know about other viewers but I really think ZSC awkwardness and shyness around SY is kinda cute especially when he grab her purse and put it around his neck.Usually in most dramas it the FL that are the clumsy naive always unsure of themselves around ML so it interesting to see something different. Also just 6eps in I’m really impressed with FL wardrobe ,beside The Legend Bai Lu looks the prettiest she ever looks in all her dramas . I also wanted to say it nice to see FL in shoes that actually goes with the outfits and not those big tennis shoes that are in most Cdramas .

That makes her really old in ancient time for not marring yet, usually girls get married at 15-20 max in ancient dramas.

I watch it up eps 6 but I makes myself stop and for full eps before continuing, watching ongoing drama sucks! Rewatching O&O only for ZSC and SY parts and but I also watch all the clips from F&E Bai and Allen makes an adorable couple!

Yeah me too I cried so bad that my dad ask me if I’m sick with an cold ? The reason ZSC sacrifice himself is to save the little king and his relatives and I thinks to him it wroth it because that who he is. I think Both leads character are very will written very smart rational peoples that puts family & country above their own happiness.SY ending is the best option for her I can’t imagine her wanting to lives after the way ZSC die. I’m rewatching One and Only waiting for more episodes of F& E .

I’m really confused on how old is Shi Yi when she first meet ZSC , it only mention that ZSC is ten yrs older then SY. The timeline is not very clear and kind of don’t makes sense because SY stay with ZSC for 10yrs so she have to be at lease 14+10 = 24 ?

Even tho I really like Bai Lu and after watching about 10mins of this drama I’m can’t go on watching it. Bai Lu makeup looks horrible it ages her like 10yrs and the ML not feeling it nor the comedy plots.

I know the ending is going to be super tragic sad that why I waited for Forever and Ever to comes out before watching the last 2eps. Even tho I know what is going to happen but I still cry my eyes out ! Now I need to go back and watch all the sweet screens of Zhou Shengchen and Cui Shiyi to forget about eps23&24 😭.

I was so looking forward to this drama and now that it aired I was waiting for it to finish to start watching. Even before watching I know I’m going to be super sad watching this drama even tho it sad but it very good . So glad that IQIYI are airing Forever and Ever so soon after this tragic story. Even tho this have such a sad ending for ML but I think it very fitting ending for the FL character. So far I think this is my favourite of Allen character so far he looks very handsome and acts the roles of a General perfect. I think Allen and Bai Lu did such a great job of expressing their forbidden loves with theirs eyes.
