She's a normal female in the modern world thrown into a fantasy world. The series started off woth the full moon and by the sixth episode, it would have been a little over a month since she's been there as SJ was waiting for the new moon to take action. She's coping by treating it as a vacation because it doesn't seem real to her to. About the middle of the series is where you'll see some character growth.

Try up to ep 5. That's when the things starts moving along. The drama really just focus on the MC's relationship so if you're the plot heavy and/or action packed viewer, then you might be disappointed.

when the ML loses his memories, is it the type of memory loss that is annoying? does he gain them back fast?
Amnesia arc only lasts a few episodes. ML only remembers that FL forced him to become a disciple and the begining of the relationship of him trying to kill her. He lost the memory of how he fell for her and his life after that so he basically reverts to his old cunning and hostile self. It's entertaining and humorous to watch him be a bratty prince who can't believe that he gave up power to became a boring master and fell for this chick name Ran Ran and then him experiencing things little by little that makes him go, "okay, maybe isn't so bad".
Having a hard time with the dubbing... it's so stiff and at one volume the whole time and the voices don't match the expressions. It's also hard to discern from the MF if She's actually speaking or if it was her inner thought.
And episode one, where did they get the meat and bread?!?!
I love it that they went with keeping the blood spits neat and tidy and that there are no annoying smears or drools of blood hanging on the mouth and chin during a whole scene.

I originally thought being formless meant she would be less powerful and be further behind, but she advanced further than her peers who have spirit roots and also got her foundation before them and got her golden core so now I'm just confused.
Anybody have more information between the difference of having a Formless Spirit Root vs having Spirit Roots? When they went to save Ling Xiao, it was because she had a Formless Spirit Root that she could nourish the seperated soul and that it was also a rare thing to have. RR was also told to keep the knowledge of her having a Formless Spirit Root a secret. Liang Wumeng, when he inspected Ling Xiao reassured her after he inquired if she had Formless Spirit that he wasn't interested in Roots and artificats.
