First thing, omg the opening OST is sooooooooo good. Also in the drama its played in perfect timings....

The ML should keep accepting such good roles because lately hes killing it!
I know many were annoyed that theere was a lack of skinships but for me their warm hugs were so much better than kisses with open eyes like in most dramas.
I think there were kisses but were edited out. It happens alot in cdramas.
The "bad boy" and his solid backstory and the "good girl" and her stuggles with parents.
Then their friends having good stories too! Honestly a great story for everyone involved!!!
I dont really agree that the drama at first was good then turned boring.
It still tells their pain in choosing majors and relationships. Also, relationships with their families.
Like how the farmer and the simple girl, i actually could understand her insecurities. Also, the lawyer and his love interest.
This and wifty gave me hopes in 2nd leads in cdramas. Usually they are bad stories and taking too much screen time.

Not done yet but the episodes when his uncle was suggering and she was there for him and then she had to transfer and that parting assay/letter were soooo good and so emotional 😢

Didnt the professor agree to this? I believe because ML's idea was better and attracted a bigger number of students. It was more practical and everyone just wanted to either learn from the genius or admire his face lol. Iirc, students could get more scores by joining his projects...
Other than the main couple, this drama is just a collection of bad edited scenes and annoying characters, esp his sister. The leads are so good, you just skip to their parts haha.
This drama doent have a unique plot but for some reason, i just love it and rewatch it from time to time. I love the leads, they are good together. Other couple are meh, i iust FF. Haha.
Oh new viewers are indeed harsh. This drama deserved all its hype back then. It brought many new fans to cdramas. I do think that cdramas somehow imporved over the years and older ones may be seen as "lacking"...
