This is great, I've been hoping to get into more Thai dramas sometime soon! Unfortunately, what has made me hesitant is definitely the language, it throws me off every time. It sounds almost hard, if that makes sense. I've only seen a couple of dramas and I've even seen a handful of movies, which where fun, so I do enjoy them.
One thing that does bother me, is when a character gets hurt (often the ML), and the reaction of the person with them (usually the FL) is to shake the injured person. Like they're potentially suffering from a head injury why are you shaking them?
In general (not just in dramas) I've always liked the childhood paths had crossed, even when it's just super random.
And while love triangles aren't my favorite thing, I hate how many dramas will often have the second male lead be super nice but the second female lead is always a brat. And the ML will always support/be on her side because they are childhood friends and he's unable to see she's basically evil.
Splendid show. This drama is better than the manga. I watched this series prior to reading the books. (In fact,…
I have to say I completely agree with you. I was hesitant to start the drama since everyone was saying the manga was better (isn't it usually like that?). However, I had found the characters (especially Chiwa) annoying in the manga. Deciding that they couldn't get any worse I decided to give the drama a try. Though I felt like the drama rushed a bit, I definitely liked the characters more here and I definitely enjoyed the drama more than the manga.
Goong was my first manhwa, back before I even started watching dramas. I loved the first half, however, the second half and ending just made me realize I wasted a part of my summer. So any time someone says the female lead should have ended up with the second lead, I cringe.
