The camerawork surprised me as well xD Well as long as they keep that wobbling around to the minimum it's fine. The plot seems interesting so far and it is moving quite fast. I also really like the setting (like the house interior etc).

Just started episode 1 and well I am surprised at how many characters in cdrama land survive cliff jumping xD

So during the finale I realized that Qingheng and Husui was never meant to be because they did not get a couple poster xD I mean the hints were there earlier but still, it made me go ah right. They were never the end game for each other.

I like Chaofengs mom as well :D She is quite fun.

Well to be fair Qingkui is the other half of her soul almost, and she is still mostly in denial that her sister is dead. I think that the writers probably wanted to focus on that grief in that episode instead of her being worried about Youqin. You do make a good point that it is a bit strange that she does not mention him at all in ep 36, but I just accepted that her grief over her sister was the more powerful force driving her in that particular episode.

I think that there was a comment that since Chaofeng was taken by his dad, Yetan also believes Youqin was taken by the Immortal emperor. Not sure if it is in that particular episode or the next one where she thinks about this though.

I really felt bad for her that no one was waiting to take her home after being released form questioning.

It is the first time I finsihed a xianxia without skipping which I did not expect when I stared this. This one will be hard to replace when it comes to comedy.
