I think one of the biggest differences between Shao Shang and most of her other quirky characters is basically that she has almost no one in her corner. This girl is tricky and using her smarts for a completely different reason compared to tiger and rose for example. She usually plays a girl that is quite happy, but here she really is not happy at all.

I also thought the actress did a good job, especially with the facial expressions.

Unrelated comment but I think your pfp is even better now. First we just saw parts of Shao Shangs face and when we did get a full shot this is what we got :D

It's nice that Niao Niao at least have Liangfeng by her side. Having a trusty servant girl is indeed better then blood sometimes.

Wu Lei himself he really enjoyed this character as well so I do believe we will get to see a lot of him as Ling Buyi.

Sadly there is no English translation so no clue. Scarfie has read it though.

I know the feeling of sometimes dropping something even though I've just watched a few episodes. But I usually wait with dropping until at least around 10 episodes. Just 1-2 episodes makes it really hard to judge something. I hope you enjoy it and if not then hope you find something that you do enjoy <3

Really enjoyed the press conferenace for LLTG today even though I had no clue about what they were saying. Lusi looked great and I found that she was also a really good listener and chiming in with comments. Wishing for lots of success for LLTG.

I really like the opening with Ling Buyi. He was like "Thank you but I'm busy. Bye." XD

For me it was good :) It is not fast paced, so that will be a turn off for some people. The cinematography is really great as well. All the actors did a great job even though some characters are annoyingly written in the way they act.

The novel is focused on Shao Shang so I believe we will start with some Cheng family drama and then when Ling Buyi starts to "chase" Shao Shang we will get a lot more of him. I also think that the later plot will be more revolved on his background.

She has 2 I believe. The older brother and a twin.

Depends on who you ask. Some really enjoy it and some drop it because of the Cheng family drama in the first episodes. The grandmother and 2 son's wife are quite loud.
