Pace will increase slowly but surley around ep 11-12. But it is a generally slow paced drama, and there are a lot of characters and side plots.

They wrapped in april and it usually take around 6 months or more before they get a distribution license.

It's a bit confusing tbh, since they have separated each story into different parts 😅 because of the limit of episodes. So the characters from the smaller chapters will have smaller roles in this "longer" story, and then there will be a short separate story for those roles.

Her character is already dead in present time line, she will be more actively featured in the separate part that focus on her and huang rong's dad.

Empyrean Xuan Shang and Yetan, Qingkui and Chaofeng are the two main couples. There are some other love lines as well, but they don't have a lot of screentime.

It depends on who you ask, it's implied to be a happy ending but we don't see it.

Okay they are really skipping real character development XD At end of ep 5, the fact that Mu Nianci act like Yang Kang is a nice enough guy after all that well.........XD It's not very believable this way lol.

Ohhhh thank you 😄 I am always happy to see familiar faces, so that can even make it worth watching a drama I might not necessarily really enjoy haha. Hopefully this part won't be a too big of a letdown.

Yes it's a shame when they dumb down characters and remove complexity 🙈 We have enough of those villain types already.
