Basically this doesn't cover the full story as it's a very long book. I'd say that they ended it at a good spot though so if there doesn't end up being a season 2 it's still not a bad ending tbh.

I had hoped Li Mozhi was going to play a nice sister but she is so annoying along with her family 😅 On the other hand Tian Xiwei really fits this role well.

There are so many realistic dramas to watch if one isn't interested in watching something like this 😂I quite like it being unrealistic haha.

I think it was more that the writers wanted that dramatic meeting at the burning house tbh. I agree with your point that it's not really his decision to make, but then again if they waited years one night more is not going to make a much bigger difference.
Side note I think he was struck dumb with how pretty she was straight from the shower 😂

First episode was interesting. The first brothers wife was playing the annoying aunt in LLTG that only lasted 4 episodes, let's see how long she lasts here 🤣

Depends on what you consider good. The comedy might be too over the top for some, while I have enjoyed the first two episodes quite a lot.
