I need to start by expressing my concerns about the ML in this story; he exhibits some significant red flags throughout the show. While the plot itself was captivating and kept my interest through the entirety, the problematic behaviour of the ML made me uncomfortable and sympathetic towards the FL for the majority of the show. SO, I don't recommend watching it if the uncomfortable feelings that I got from it would be too much for others.
I will continue to say that, what I found particularly troubling was how the story somewhat romanticises the abuses that the ML inflicts on the FL during their marriage. This aspect overshadowed the intriguing amnesia plot twist that added a unique layer to their relationship and the whole dynamic that they have, which is why I continued to watch. Despite my mixed feelings, I’m relieved I didn’t follow through with my initial feelings of wanting to drop the show. It certainly isn’t something I would consider rewatching, but I appreciate the experience for its complex storytelling, since I enjoy amnesia stories.
