We don’t get so see the Marquis is any full blown action up until the end of the drama. His fight scenes got cut a lot. That’s one of the biggest problems I had with this drama. He was said to be great but we were never shown.
He wrecked the enemy camp solo and I’m like “How tf did he do all that by himself?” Then the big reveal dropped and it made total sense why he was able to pull that off effortlessly. Duan Xu!!!! Now that’s what I’m talking about!

Yet I am even more keenly aware of the loneliness and profound sorrow that can never be concealed in your eyes. The sorrows no one ever knew, the scars etched into one's very being-none of that can be dismissed with a single label like "crazy" or "psychotic."
You have devoted your entire life to hatred and plotting, seeking nothing more than to avenge your parents and reclaim what was rightfully yours from the start. All you long for is someone who will not be frightened by your appearance and can treat you with genuine sincerity.

I'm very fortunate to have encountered such a multidimensional, complex, and vividly human character in "Chasing Jade."
