Saw some comments saying Li HuaiAn was very selfish for reacting the way he did. Can you all be for real? His reaction was totally valid. If there's one thing I dislike about Changyu, it's how she keeps making decisions for others like it's her job. It's not her first, but the second time she's done this. Even if she thought she was protecting him, she really didn't have the right to do that. Whether he lives or dies in a battle, it's completely his choice to make. Knocking out a general who literally led troops to battle because you feel you have to protect him is absolutely ridiculous.

From some of the reuters, he sees an arrow coming towards QQ and pushes her out of the way, taking the hit instead. He falls off immediately but ends up dragging QQ along because of the chain binding their hands. FL swoops in and grabs onto QQ legs now making QQ and QM both suspend. He manages to free his hand from the chain, so QQ doesn’t go down with him. That's how he died 💀
