I recall the part where Yichen sadly mentioned that Ji Ting was too engrossed in her new company and had no time. Then, Bestie replied by saying, "I'm not like her. I just want to settle down with my beloved and live a simple life." She indirectly recommended herself to her friend's man because that's what he's been yearning for. It's pretty shady. Also, let's not forget how quickly she went to shoot her shot after they broke up.

I skipped the scenes featuring the streamer friend and her love life because I wasn't interested. I found it annoying how much screen time they got.

And also with Su ZhiZhou, it was clear from the start that he had no chance with Li Li. He is too innocent, and she is too sophisticated for him. On the other hand, Yixiao is a perfect match for Li Li, and I'm really enjoying their story so far. The no-strings-attached relationship is likely to develop feelings, and I find that intriguing

I believe that MDL should update the novel synopsis to the one provided by Youku because the current synopsis kinda portrays SML as the love interest of FL. We can say this show is after all an original script since only 10 chapters of the novel were released and lots of modifications have been done.

I don't like the bestie too, but when we look at it, both she and Yichen want similar things, which makes them a perfect fit for each other.

I found it frustrating to see multiple women fighting for one man in The Sword and the Brocade. The scheming was just too much for me so I ended up dropping it. However, I did enjoy Flight to You and Go Ahead. Yet to see Road Home

When asked about her ideal type, she ended up describing her friend's boyfriend. She's always eager to know what's going on in their relationship, like whether he proposed or not, and whether he regrets supporting her business. When her house was burglarized, the first person she called was her friend's boyfriend. Like, girl, I see through you. I find the whole situation of QY liking Yichen weird, but what can I say? Sighh

I love seeing Li Li and the guy in glasses together in scenes. They really got me with the way they flirted with each other at the club. Their chemistry is explosive already. Can't wait to see how their story develops in future episodes
