I decided to give this show a chance because of its exceptionally high rating, but it turned out to be just an average youth drama. While it's a decent watch, I think a rating of 9.2 is a bit much. For me, it's more of an 8.
This show is undeniably amazing, without a doubt one of the best kdramas released this year. If you're considering whether to watch it, just dive in! It's an absolutely fantastic watch.

I initially felt the same about her, but over time, her pretending stopped, and she really grew on me. Actually, her whole gang became really likable too.

I completely agree! Liu Yuning has such an incredible screen presence and charisma that's truly captivating. So what if he's not the typical "pretty boy" type? That doesn't make him unattractive in any way. It's disheartening to see all the negativity about his looks. This man is very attractive, and his height is just perfect. It's crazy how some Cdrama fans don't appreciate good actors like him as male leads just because they don't fit their idol actor beauty standard. Not every actor has to conform to a specific look. Many of those conventionally pretty actors can't even match Liu Yuning's charisma. I find it funny every time I see those pretty boys being cast in a period drama where they are supposed to be a charismatic General but mostly fail to convince. Liu Yuning is absolutely perfect for these types of roles. He effortlessly embodies his characters and completely owns them. Plus, the fact that he does his own dubbing is really impressive. He's incredibly hardworking, and I truly admire him. Haters can go touch some grass 'cause this man will keep getting the roles.
