IDK i was watching this drama but had to put it on hold because of Cheng Xiao's acting. You would expect to see improvements in her acting but for me it still feels as stiff as she was in FIYS. Plus compared to leo and xiao bing she falls very behind.

I agree with you. Its also one of the reasons I like Max and tul. In most dramas the "top" is always bulky but then the "bottom" is the weak and scrawny one. But in the series with max and tul they get rid of that stereotype and they show that gay people, especially bottoms, dont have to look scrawny they can also be bulky. That its okay for two strong men to date. A gay man doesnt have to be feminine, the majority of gay men I know are big strong guys.

I agree Evan Lin looked extra handsome in uniform. I binged watched it and honesty no second lead syndrome but I did hoped they would have also given him a love interest. And that they gave us 4 happy couples and a healthy side kick... Evan really looked handsome and I hope to see him as the main lead soon.

I especially agree with the line " some people may even stop watching at that point" i would have been one of those people, but by the time he died i was already too invested to drop the drama🤣. It had to be ling yi the one that died to essentially bring all of them even closer together. Just thinking about his death makes me sad. Its always the side characters one grows attach to that they kill.

During the episode before that one, I was telling myself that it was weird that they hadn't killed anyone, since in most of these dramas there's always one that dies. For me, it was very unexpected when they killed him off, and especially in such a ridiculous way. Ridiculous because compared to their other mission, example the desert one, there was more danger, and it would have been more plausible for someone to die. His death became even more ridiculous when you see how they all survived that one last battle. But I guess they needed his death in order to have an emotional driving force for them to defeat the bad guys.

It would have been ideal if he survived and proved to his parents how capable he is.

No worries, when i first heard about it, I also tried to figure out where to watch it. If I am not mistaken, they had some issues with the first production company, so that's why it has taken so long. I believe they started recording either at the end of last year or beginning of last year, and they just finished with the last scenes. It comes out April 2nd . For some reason, I also enjoy watching toxic relationships, especially when it's this type of theme. I understand what you mean, I absolutely hate watching ongoing dramas. Its funny considering I am watching like 3ongoing ones and it's driving me crazy. This past couple of months there hasnt been a lot of good dramas which leaves no other option but to watch airing ones.
