use of flashbacks elementary? clearly, you're the one who is in elementary school. Flashbacks "break up the chronological flow of a story, making it more interesting and realistic." and they also help the reader feel closer to the characters. Idk if you have noticed but the majority of movies and series have flashbacks at one point or another.
