I am not telling you to watch it or not. I am simply saying that if you find it repulsive then not watching is an option. The synopsis and parts you found on Weibo are probably part of the story so by calling them idiotic don't you think you're offending the author who wrote it?
I mean no offense by this but if you or anyone else feels repulsed by it then simply don't watch it. Many people who have read the novel, including myself, wouldn't want something so important to be changed just because some people are repulsed by it.
The chemistry and acting is top notch
