I was just thinking today that it seems like more recent shows were leaning away from the conflict being parents…
a big nevermind. Its ridiculous how his parents just showed up at Joanna's door step and then said " Mark has a new girlfriend. It seems he wants to settle down." Like first of all who shows up to the house of someone you don't know even if its your sons girlfriend. Im assuming Mark told them about Ou wen but he misunderstood it was a girl. But UGH it boils my blood that they dont let them be happy for more than 1 episode.

I say don't drop it but put it on hold until all the subs come out and we figure out what happened. i do think they end up together but the writers pulled the classic cliché of one of them leaving and then them reuniting during the last 5mn

so they get the bad guys and we see the leads together and they seem happy but then it skips to her best friends wedding and he is not there, and then it skips again she always looks towards his apartment. THEN one day she sees the door somewhat opened but he wasnt there but she starts crying THEN like mn before the drama ends she sees him where they work. Sadly I cant understand Chinese so I can only make assumptions based on what I see.
