In episode 5 he mentions to his mom how he knows the XS doesn't have it in him to make his dad sad by saying he is gay, and he knows XS will be unwilling to marry a girl therefore he will probably be alone for the rest of his life. his mother then asks him what does he plan to do to stop his dads anger and YJ thats its simple that he will just transfer the anger to himself, he tells his mother to not tag along on the trip and that she will find out soon. Then in episode 10 YJ shows his parents, its like having enough smoke to yell fire. I think YJ just got XS drunk so he wouldn't remember what actually happened so XS wouldn't discredit YJ's account when the time came. Further in his diary entries suggest that he was not being an opportunist and getting XS drunk for the purpose of having sex with him. He did all this to become the bad guy, take all the blame for everything, doesn't make it less right. So all in all YJ pretended to take advantage of XS and ruined the family in order to give XS a clean consciousness and the relief that it wasn't him that ruined the family or their relationship.
