To show the audience that your actions have consequences. Many younger audiences who may, God forbid, get abused just like North was and think "oh this is how some men behave" and "that's normal". Yes Johan took care of it but in what way we didn't see. But most BLs just never execute their work in an educative way so not surprising that's probably how the novel goes as well. May be it's cuz I'm growing older I just wished it could teach us something esp the younger audience.
Yes that's New's directing style but I loved UWMA cuz of its plot I guess and the actors again were amazing. However, We Are, Perfect 10 liners and Fourever you has been made around the same year and it's like I'm watching same type of series with different characters back to back. Fourever You is still way better and yes Hill Ter I loved them in the first few episodes but then they kept dragging it. I love Johan North as well but why how when North developed feelings for Johan it was so quick the next thing I knew was they were kissing😭
Sorry only the friends trio made me continue up untill 7 episodes. I didn't care about Arm and Arc most of their scenes felt like "I've seen something like this before, nothing new" and had to skip through most parts cuz it was so cringe for me. Let's see how I feel about other pairs. Marc and Poon are cute so far.
Edit: Just finished watching eps 9-14 and damn I'm so glad I tuned in for YOTHA and GUN they are so good at making me feel all the emotions. Perth has always been great no doubt his eyes speaks to your soul. But Santa surprised me, the minute details in his facial expressions whether it be comedic, serious or emotional he pulled it off so well. They didn't have to say much to make me feel the confusion and sadness they were feeling. On YOTHA'S defence I'd like to say his actions are determined by his past trauma of loveless life, poor boy doesn't realise what he's feeling is love only. GUN is such a ball of sunshine even an ounce of tear in his eyes breaks my heart 😭
Whatever they do with the storyline I'll tune in only for the actors. Love each one of them and I miss them already after Long beans. I want to see them on my screen again🌊
After watching "This Love doesn't have long beans" I don't want to see Garfield with anyone else but Benz. They have great chemistry please 😭 cancel this series sorry
I was giddy and stomping my feet throughout the series. Both couple were eye candies. I was reluctant to watch cuz I thought it would be cringe but to my surprise I enjoyed every bit of it. Plot was not something extraordinary I had to fast forward in most parts. But the actors did great job in making this basic story into something interesting. Chemistry was 10/10 they ate with the NC scenes. It fit well with the plot.
I hate it when BLs focus more on NC scenes but lag behind in terms of plot execution but they did pretty well in balancing out everything.

Oh he breakups with her very early on. They don't drag the girlfriend part too much which I liked. I think he was just hesitant cuz he didn't want to hurt the girl but they handle it very maturely and none of them act like annoying teenagers.
Hill and Ter are confusing. We get flashbacks of them being intimate and (what appears) them being ripped apart…
I think it's cuz Hill left without saying goodbye? there was a scene where Ter kept waiting in his family's cafe for Hill to return. I'm still on ep 4 so that's what my guess is rn
In Bamhae's defence I'd like to say it's very easy to get infatuated by someone when you don't get the deserved attention from your partner. This is human nature. What I feel like is it was never love between Judy and Bamhae it was just attraction from Bamhae's side cuz Judy seemed so cool to her.
Since highschool she has been sticking with Tae so mere infatuation may have felt like serious attraction to her❤❤❤
I like Office Dramas and OffGun's presence is like a cherry on top so I liked it. It's like a comfort show it doesn't intrigues me to watch another episode then and there, there isn't any suspense going on so I can watch an episode a day and still enjoy it, but forgot about it completely until another episode comes. I hope I'm making sense. It's good but doesn't always keep you on the edge. OffGun's acting is so good they can give me butterflies out of something mundane. Plot wise it's not bad it's just about daily office life and the friend circle is really funny. Once in a while I like watching something non dramatic. 8/10 for me.
Also don't get me wrong. Late 20's is not old. But they are a few years away from being 30 and I'd like to see…
Exactly my thoughts. I think GMM uses popular couples for mediocre series to garner attention. Also WE ARE aired not too long ago like they should air goofy shows in midst of serious ones to balance out a bit. Back to back light series just makes it lose its charm.
With all due respect Force and Book should be given some serious series with serious plot not this comedy shit. They can act well and they have proven this through their acting in Peaceful Property. I want them to make me cry and throw up.
Goofy act doesn't suit them. And I've already scene them in school/college environment during "Enchante" so I don't see what was the necessity to put them in academic genre again. I really wish GMM give them some good work. I'm honestly skipping through most of the scenes cuz of how cliche they are. No butterflies in my stomach at all.
