I am now caught up with my dramathon for my year drama challenge but now I have to catch up on everything else. As soon as I do that I will let myself back on FB. LOL

I just finished WHITE CHRISTMAS and I LOVED IT! Gorgeous cast full of great up and coming actors. Good story. I gave it a ten! Kept me on pins and needles the entire show.

@Cheerful - If you read the comments to your article, clearly most people only watched one version. If they watched more than the one, by comments posted, it seems more than 90% of the people liked the first one they watched - mainly ISWAK. Just because you liked the first one you watched, it does not mean you "disregard" the others by not watching them. You look for the faults in the other compared to the first.

And honestly, if people cannot judge each drama on its own merits, without comparing the stories, someone has a problem. That's like comparing A MAN CALLED GOD, BAD GUY & CITY HUNTER to each other, since they all have the same premise. I get why you would want to do that for this article, but if you end up doing that for every country that remakes a show, imagine what great productions you will miss because you are so biased against it from the get go. To each his own though.

OHN was the first one I watched. I liked it very much. She's a simple, plain minded girl who loses herself in her absolute love for a boy AKA she's a hardcore Naoki Irie fan. Imagine if your favorite star moved into your house, how would you act? I imagine much the same as her, in this series - very odd, quirky, stalker-ish, & does things without thinking because your mind is in a daze. LOL


I watched ISWAK, it was forgetful. Honestly, I remember the premise of it but, I think like every idol drama, it is overrated. I never attempted the second season. I watched two episodes of Playful Kiss and I hated myself.

I think it depends on which show you watch first. The problem is people want to compare them to one another instead of taking each on its own.

Thanks for the add yourself! Right now I am on a drama blitz thanks to Sleepy. I am watching everything I can get my hands *eyes* on. I have finished five dramas this month. Flower Boy Next Door will make it six, but I need to do eight, or I will never make my drama challenge of 100 for the year.

I am currently in love with Queen of Ambition, Advertising Genius Lee Tae Baek, IRIS 2, The Incarnation of Money and King Flower. I know a lot of people are in love with that whole WINDY WINTER BLOWY STORM show but I had to quit because it had too many plot holes, was too eerily incestuous, and how anyone is okay with someone hitting on a blind girl... whatever. LOL

The man in my picture - in ALL my pictures, wherever I am, is the actor on the top of my favorites list, KIM NAM GIL. He's my favorite actor of all time. Even if I may drool over someone else, I am always loyal to him. :)

It started off so promising then it hit the midpoint high and ended with a complete dud.

My dad use to say that too. LOL I shall stick with my RED. Ha!

My drama challenge? I am sucking at it this month. Last month I did nine. This month I only have watched four, with a week to go. I need to pick it up!! I can't help it I get sidetracked by nothing all the time. Tis my nature! :P

It's sweet. It goes back and forth a bit too much after awhile (I'd say ep 10). It reminds me a lot of a typical KDrama. The villainous girl in this is SUPER ... grrrr...she's BAD. I mean, I wanted to kill her so many times. She is all sorts of wrong.

It runs a bit long. They probably could have cut it down to around 16 episodes and it would have been fine.

I gave it an 8 because while it isn't the best looking show, when it starts, it picks up and even in the lag, still good acting, and they use all the characters well. The scenes are shot decent. Overall, I liked it, I really liked the concept.

OH! and it has two endings, so you can pick to watch none, one, or both. :)

In the end, only the elite get to not sleep with whoever they want. All the others can be forced to go by the club owner, if it brings in more money. That is how the system works. I've seen it many times.

I thought I was going to see Personal Taste's "Game Over" kiss, just about anything from Secret Garden, and something from The Princess' Man. However I am shocked that there is no mention of I NEED ROMANCE (season 1) in the passionate kisses section. If there was one show with some serious make out, and passionate kissing, sessions, it was INR.

Athena and IRIS, while under the same umbrella of names, are not really the same. I don't think you would need to watch ATHENA to understand IRIS 2. You may want to watch IRIS - THE MOVIE, which compacts the first season into, well, a movie. LOL Basically give you a working knowledge of the series. You can always go back and watch the first season in more detail, if you want.

Guess you've never seen a documentary on a host club. They can, and some do, sleep with their costumers. Money, it makes the world go around. Fancy that!? Reality, it's such a b**ch.

Why do I always laugh when Lee MinHo wins awards? Just like the rookie awards, all very questionable.

These awards are give by the TV stations to the shows they air on, therefore REPLY 1997 would not be on any of these lists as it was on a cable network, TvN. Not a major broadcast company.

Over here just busy with college applications, scholarship applications, and getting the daughter back to China for the summer again. She decided to skip her junior year and go straight to being a senior. Since then life has become one application fee after the next. She started off wanting to apply to 12 schools. Finally widdled it down to 4. If I die under paperwork, you'll know why.
