One of my first and still best k drama. Just loved how badass Vincenzo was, dude always had a plan. The story while over the top and ridiculous was so entertaining..never boring at all. The female lead was amazing too, capable, hilarious and cute. Felt rather unique compared to your vanilla "cold" strong female lead these days
The main villian was also great, fantastic performance from the actor.
People bashing the humor don't get that its supposed to be a fun show, not a gritty revenge drama. Its clear from the first scene of the show that this is not some dark show

Its well written because the director knew they were making a ridiculous drama. Much better than all the cheap melodramatic drama here that take themselves so seriously but are just stupid (see queen of tears, welcome to samdalri etc.)
Just finished watching this, damm good thriller and rather underrated. Honestly I have learned to not trust the ratings on this site, rarely do I agree with them

Its a poorly done love story with an unlikable female lead and a whiny male lead who cries all the time. The drama feels rather forced and almost all characters are annoying.
CLOY actually had a powerful love story that took its time to build up and it explored North Korea (unusual for k dramsa) in interesting ways, the main leads had perfect chemistry and there plenty of likable characters to root for even apart from the great main couple.
I feel like this should be at least in the Top 10 here but people on this site seem to prefer more lighthearted and romance focused drama
This drama is a masterpiece in my opinion. One of the best thrillers I have ever seen. The story is dark but so well done with tons of twists that all fit well when you rewatch it. The performances are amazing, especially from the two leads. Some of the best in any k drama tbh. The soundtrack is top tier too, very haunting.
And the story is not just about twists, there are some real thought provoking questions explored as well.
I really wish we would get more drama like this that would get hyped, instead of vanilla melodramas like Queen of Tears that get all the love...
