I don't know... as much as I loved the English confession, it felt a little out-of-left-field there. After he returned, I kind of expected him to sprinkle a little more English in his speech as tends to happen to bilinguals. It makes total sense that he would be more comfortable in Thai, even after becoming fluent in English due to the near complete immersion he experience in the US but the bilinguals I know tend to sometimes intersperse their second language randomly into their speech. Like, he might use the word 'okay' as agreement more often than he did before (especially since 'okay'seems to basically have become universal at this point) or say 'thanks' or 'bye'. Small words, little slips. It felt weird to me that he didn't do that after returning to Thailand. So that's why it completely floored me that he decided to confess that way in complete English - because he didn't really act like he knew English to such a fluent extent after returning to Thailand. So, yeah, even though it was very hot and I loved it a lot, it didn't make sense to me to have it all in English. I'll still 100% take it, though. Santa could read the English dictionary to me and I'd take it. Damn, that accent was good.

I totally get what you're saying. When Santa walked off the bus in the episode after returning from the US, I was totally like 'damn, I'm going to hell' and I've never thought that about Barcode, even if I can look at him and be like 'yeah, he's cute'. But Santa is older. Barcode just turned 18 in August and Santa is about to turn 19 next week.

I think this episode definitely made Akk confront himself about what he was feeling in a way that he never had before. It was easy to just say that he was merely curious about Ayan before due to his behavior. But that was then and he's definitely not lying to himself, even if he may not like the truth. It's really Ayan that I think hasn't admitted it to himself. Or, if he has admitted it to himself, he's not really doing anything more than flirting because the mystery surrounding his uncle's death really does take precedence. I suspect that, too, is gonna change. Or at least that he's going to be more open with Akk in the hopes of getting both Akk and the truth.

Yeah, of course. We all know how this story ends (all these stories end) it's the destination to get there that we enjoy.

I definitely think he had a crush on the old head prefect but, just like now with Ayan, he didn't realize that's what it was and just took it as admiration. The difference is that Ayan can tell that Akk is feeling things, which the old prefect either didn't pick up or chose to outright ignore it, which Ayan isn't doing. Ayan teases him because it's both fun to see Akk flustered and it diverts his attention long enough for Ayan to get what he wants. I don't think he's quite as interested in Akk as Akk is in him but I also don't think he's not interested at all. He's starting to feel something, it just doesn't matter as much as figuring out the truth. But I have a feeling that's all gonna change in the next episode or two.

It flows a bit better in the novel but the gist is that Payu knows exactly how demanding the Architecture major is and refuses to let their potential relationship cause Rain to mess up. Payu knows that Rain lied about his previous project's deadline in order to spend time with Payu, which caused Rain to stay up all night to get it done and then crash and miss the deadline. Payu tells him not to come back to the garage bc he doesn't want Rain to be distracted from his studies. He won't go forward with a relationship with Rain until Rain can show that he can handle both his studies and their relationship - and prioritize his studies when it's needed. Rain misses Payu, however, so compromises by going to the garage and bringing his work with him. And since the episode showed that Payu also missed Rain, it didn't take much for Rain to get his way in being allowed to come back to the garage.

Love Storm is on wattpad. It's a pretty atrocious MTL translation but it gets the job done and you pretty much understand everything that goes on in the book. It reads like a pretty typical romance novel. It's not ground-breaking in any way but also not offensive, either.

The bathroom scene is longer and there's a second kiss from Payu after Rain declares he's going to make Payu fall in love with him.

Yes, exactly. It does seem very on the nose, so far. Like, I just don't get what this group is fighting so hard for. Is it really just about the uniforms?

I really like this show so far (accidental kiss and all) but the premise just isn't working for me yet. I don't really get what's so bad about the rules of the school yet. Aside from the uniforms (which isn't a Suppalo thing, it's a prep school thing) they haven't really told us what these rules are that are so oppressive. I just don't get what these protestors are fighting for, aside from no uniforms - and again, that doesn't seem like a big enough deal to drive someone to commit suicide. Uniforms seem to be a staple in Thailand and in many other countries. Not Me also talked about fighting for what you believe is right and standing up against oppressors and such but they backed it up with real world problems and examples. That's not the case here so far. Did I just miss something along the way?

Hi, just wanted to answer your side question. First, if English isn't your native language, no one would be able to tell, it's really good. Second, while landing stage technically works and gets the point across, we call them piers. A big one, like at the ocean, could be called a boardwalk or pier while small ones, at lakes, are usually called piers. A favorite insult of mine is to tell someone to 'take a long walk off of a short pier' aka go for a swim and stay there.

The IQIYI version is technically uncut but the 1st episode was the same. The second episode does feature a longer bathroom scene (by about a minute, I think) and a second kiss from Payu after Rain's sudden kiss. I believe the YT version only shows Payu kissing him once.

I guess it could depend upon how many total books they had and the weight of the books. If you didn't have a class everyday, would you want to carry its book, too? I was in a school that only had 4 classes per semester but I had every class every day and I had to bring all 4 textbooks (which were way thicker than the books shown here) and corresponding binders to school. Weighed my bag once and it was about 30 pounds I was lugging to and around school every day. I don't miss that part of school at all. That said, if it meant me not dying I would absolutely bring all of my books to school every day, no matter if I had the option not to.

First, your comment comes across as a little rude. I explained my reasoning. Feel free to disagree but at least say why, instead of putting me down.
Second, although I've yet to see a Thai version, yes, I have seen a body/soul swap story before. Just because the rules work one way for one story doesn't mean they'll go the same way for another.
I don't see how what I said was out of the realm of possibilities and it makes sense to me. I'm also open to it working out another way. You're welcome to tell me another theory.

Okay, I think I understand how the switching works. Everytime we see Ohm as Tess (aka the original body) and not Sea, it's basically from the view point of someone who doesn't know that Tess's body is being inhabited by Talay's soul. So, his friends, parents, brother, etc. When we see Sea instead, we're seeing from the view point of Talay. So, this is why we have only seen Nanon as Tun from Talay's viewpoint - because Talay doesn't really know yet that Tun has also been switched and he definitely doesn't know that Tun has been switched with Puen. As for Puen/Tun's viewpoint, we see Tess as Ohm only, because Puen doesn't know that Tess has been switched, too, with Talay. I think they will only 'see' each other as their real versions, aka Sea and Jimmy, once they know who each other are. Now why Tun is avoiding Tess, I'm not really sure. Maybe he doesn't want to come across anyone who might figure out that he's not really Tun. Or maybe he knows that Tess has been switched, just not that it's Talay.

Yes, they're really bad. I hear the YT subs aren't any better. Makes me wish I knew Thai just so I could fix them.
