Overall, this was an enjoyable series with a very interesting story concept. The script did a great job with setting up the series and introduced all of the characters. I apricate that it did not have the second to last episode syndrome of introducing the very obvious conflict scenario which allowed two episodes for a good resolution. Although the script started off very good, it did have a few weak sections by episode 9. As for the cast, they did a great job considering most of them are new to acting. This series did a great job showcasing LYKN’s musical talent. The songs were great which helped with the music industry backdrop.

Random Notes:

The opening credits was cute and the name of each episode is a song title.

You have to love the cross merchandising of their own productions. The series in episode 4 was “Good Old Days” and the constant reference of the move “Love You to Debt”.

It was cool and very smart to have the actors from “Only Boo” reprising their group (Gump) roles. Especially considering that series also delt with how production companies view artist as products and not as humans.

******Potential Spoiler Alert******

The main weak aspect of the script: There was a constant emphasis from many individuals on how it was important to be discreet when dating as an idol, but you see the main characters constantly doing things out in the open where everyone can see. There was even one scene where they are holding hands in the middle of a food area but will not hug because there in public. However, this scene was even weirder because you see absolutely no people around.

I was a little annoyed with the slight redemption story arch with CEO Pemika in the last ending. She also gave this really lame speech to Po in episode 11 about how she was doing everything for their own good.
