I think they did this show too early. Gen 5 had barely been announced. This felt rushed and less likely to make strong pairings just because they didn't really know eachother yet. The previous seasons felt like they had at least a bit of background with eachother and the show was more fine tuning the connections. This felt like strangers expected to make a choice that will change their whole career. And because of that it feels so disappointing from an audience point of view.
They spent way too much of the early episodes on the present story. Shpuld have been 2 max. The flashbacks, and Kaew's need to understand what happened in his previos life, have been way more compelling and now they are out of time to wrap everything up successfully. It's such a shame because you can really see the potential the story had with the last few episodes.
So far, even though a ton of them are interested in Fifa, he hasn't shown a clear interest in anyone in particular. I wonder if he'll choose himself in the end.
i'm really hoping that if/when they bring in a few more people like they did last season maybe there are few of…
I would love that! Though, I think the only artists without a fixed pair are Tommy and James (who both chose to leave a fixed pair), Park and Poppy (who only ever seem to play comedic side characters) and Mark and Gems(who were a non-fixed pair in a recent show). So I don't know who that could be unfortunately. Are there others I'm forgetting?
I honestly feel really bad for Porsche. It would be a challenge for any typical 30 yr old to connect with people in their teens and early 20s. And it seems like viewers are already getting down on him just because of his age. He seems sweet and I liked him in City of Stars so I hope he doesn't have a hard go of it.
I just hate hate hotaru's dad, such a greedy and selfish fuck
I need bad things to happen to that man. I know this show is all about warmth and love, but he needs to be punished for his choices and the harm he causes.
OffGun are one of the rare BL couples that keep upgrading. They surprise me each and every time, although Gun…
I feel the same way about Gun. I fully see that he is a very talented actor, but I don't often enjoy watching him. I think it's because he still looks like a teenager to me, though I know he is in his 30s, so there is always this dissonance there.
Shirasaki can be a little too self-involved. It's driving me nuts that he can't see that Asami is very clearly struggling with something. I get that he is working incredibly hard to get to the level he wants to be as an actor, but he's being a not great partner. It's so sad to see Asami all alone in his struggles, especially because he is always there to help Shirasaki.
