I've just finished watching ep 34 and this is baaaad, I ship Xu Qian with Duchess of Zhenbei a.k.a Mu Nanzhi.…
also I did some research and in the novel she's his true love or something so I might into something lol. but I heard in the drama Xu Qian only has one lover so she's out of question for now.

Hi!If you don't like the story then it's totally fine. bcz we all have different interestes. But I just want to…
Oh the irony, he’s the spokeperson of the bluehouse, master of negotiation, yet he can’t communicate properly with his wife. Hahaha.
Also I know about that, but imo, any lies and deceptions even though came from a good place, still a lie anyway. Here Heejoo is stripped of her own autonomy and had to “accept” Saeon “correct” judgement about the marriage situation. She’s in the dark and he did not try to tell her the truth, and he had like 2-3 years to do that? Isn’t that a convenient manipulation? He better redeem his character later on.

You guys gotta admit that if Saeon is a green flag man the story wouldn’t be interesting no? I just wanna shit on him for treating his wife like a stranger. Imagine if you married to him, it would be so lonely.
Haha it’s just a drama, but god he’s testing my patience 😂
the husband is fucking mental. being possessive and controlling is not love. He's delude himself through the marriage, I wish the Wife can get divorced. ew
Edit: dont get me wrong,, I enjoy the drama but I just want to vent my frustration
LR pities SRQ. She told PWX about her first meeting with SRQ. He was a young boy with admirable ideals. I pitied…
Well for starter, I watch drama for character study and not necessarily for the actor and actresses so as long as their acting is top tier I’m satisfied lol. Not a fan or ZLH or ZJM too, so I’m not too bothered with “screen time”. Tbh this drama could take 50 episode the last arc did feel rushed.
I’ve listened to the ost but got lost in the translation. I’m pretty sure the chinese lyrics contain proverbs that i dont understand. But I like the SRQ ost bcs I’m a fan of mikah, forgive me hahahha
I really enjoy this drama, and I like the main character. Both Li Rong, and Pei Wenxuan, but also Su Rongqing. I can see each of their dilemma and what makes them choose to do things. LR character is main appeal is that she values compassion, harmony and loyalty the most, but in order to achieve that she had to wield power. but even then, she's willingly to let go of that for her family's safety. What shocks me the most with PWX character is that he turns out really really love LR and would go down with her if things go bad. I think with PWX character, his idealism already achieved in his first life so now his character looks like a one dimensional lover boy (but hey it's his charms!) He is also the most emotionally mature, so his character development might look meh (understandable, we need DRAMA here). Last but not least, I got to admit I empathize with SRQ the most. He loves, yet not brave enough to fight for someone. He hates himself but instead he choose to burns the world (literally). in the end he decided he's not worthy of atonement. (please sent him to therapist so that he can learn self love).
okay that's all. eh, I still don't know why most of the comment were negative. please enlighten me hahaha.
Wasn't it a miracle that it got a second season? I dont think we get a third one. I personally found stranger…
Let’s keep the hope alive, bcs the screenwriter have an ongoing drama right now (the Grid) so hopefully she’ll get to write Stranger again.
About season 2, you cant help compare it to s1 but honestly, it has very different approach of directing. So ofc it would be very different. What I like is that S2 offer a piece of puzzle that completed Hwang Shimok arc. Together with season 1 it forms a complete circle.
Season 1 tells a story of how Shimok is shimok, good at his job, unwavering in the presence of truth, a lone wolf, suspicious of everyone. The ending depict the inglorious reality of “I’ve done it but at what cost?” so painfully.
But in season 2, it tells Shimok character growth. The overall ambiance is loneliness. Shimok always alone, but in S2 even he felt the loneliness too unbearable. (The scene in his dorm). By the time he have to work at supreme court, he realize that he kinda miss the days at the western seoul office, and how he’s taking it for granted. We can see shimok desperately try to save dongjae, and shimok unconsciously go to kang wonchul for advice (multiple times). He learn to trust people and not shove them aside (like what he did to eunjae). At the end, he has learned how to cherish his relationship with people (yeojin, seo dongjae) and even felt happy that he still has a person he could trust at the new office (his old assistant). Is that so wonderful??
Many series failed to serve this kind of story to us, and I have to admit I’m in awe at the complexity of the story being it overshadowed by the crime/mystery theme. Tbh the shimok arc is done already, but yeojin still have one to explore, but it totally up to the producers wether they want to continue it or not.

things I notice troughout the drama they add unnecessary plot (ik-sun jungwan breakup/cheating/ secretive plot), (gyeoul-andrea secret relationship), dragging ikjun songhwa loveline, it is not slice of life anymore, it's makjang drama. The only character growth I see is Seokhyung, but his character development seems forced in 1 episode (going 180 degree as lying to his mother whom he respect very much in season 1, I can't find a reason why would someone who cares for his mother SO MUCH would scare her so she would accept his relationship with chu mina).
the side character storyline shines in comparison (because we could relate to it), like Rosa and the director friendship, Rosa illness, the intern and residents who working their ass off, I love Jo Dehak story with his lovely wife (he's much more like a mentor to jungwan).
Great drama but sadly pales in comparison to Season 1, repeated storyline and not bringing anything new to the table. Great acting as always, but yeah 7.5/10
at first I thought this would not be as thriller as the first season, but the 4th last episode shines in its own way, giving a very different vibes from the first season. I gotta say I love this season more because we can see how much character development the leads go through. 10/10
I cant wait season 3 to be announce.... this series is just gold
I'm probably in the minority, but I low key shipped her with Shi Mok. I say low key because I didn't actually…
She liked Shi Mok, in a way that Shi Mok totally doesn't understand, but it does affect him in some ways. I think it's sweet... tbh her death is hinted at the beginning by her father.
Shin Hari turn into Shin Geumhui when originally Hari’s fake name is Kim Shin (Gong yoo from Goblin). But not gonna disappointed bcs I get the funny skit from the “on-air drama” (kimchi slap)
As someone who works in medicine, this drama hooks me up instantly. The cast has a great chemistry and did a great job ass a doctor. They relate so much to the point that I could feel their feelings. I also love each patient story, because I did experience those situation from time to time.
