Cha Eun Woo is one of my favorite male actors and although he’s my favorite, I certainly hope I’m not biased…
He's constantly been cast in main roles for practically every single drama he's been in despite only being 24; the companies obviously think he's a great actor. I highly doubt that it was Cha Eun Woo's acting that made you not be able to finish more than two eps of a series, some series just have slow starts and I almost always have to force myself to finish the first 5 eps of a series before it actually starts to get to the good parts and catch my interest, it's basically a rule of mine now because I've realized that many amazing dramas start out slow and then pick up; it almost never has anything to do with how well the actors do their job, it's usually a plot or cinematic problem honestly. An example of a drama that Cha Eun Woo is the ml that starts out slow would be Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. It honestly started out so slow and not really entertaining or funny that I almost dropped it, but by the 5 or 6 ep it really picked up and became quite funny, the ending was so disappointing though. Not trying to force Cha Eun Woo on you, but you should try out True Beauty, I found it really funny and thought the main actress did an amazing job (and honestly, second male lead was my favorite in True Beauty just because I tend to like the bad boys more XD)

If you had truly just said “ I tried” I honestly wouldn’t even think you were hating on him, but you obviously were considering the emoji’s you put. And fyi, I have never even heard a single song from Astro so I can’t be a fan girl of something I’ve never heard. And just because you don’t like him doesn’t make him any less of a great actor; being a great actor actually isn’t an opinion, it’s based on how well they act, saying he’s good looking would be an opinion. Y’all are just mad that he’s going to be cast in this upcoming drama instead of one of your own favorites.
Just from the premise alone, I'm really excited for this! It's sad that Si Wan turned down the role but I'm sure…
Cha Eun Woo is one of my favorite male actors and although he’s my favorite, I certainly hope I’m not biased when I say he’s a great actor. He may be used to romance dramas, but I think he’ll be great considering his talent. You should try to watch some of the shows he’s been in, you hopefully won’t regret it at all☺️
Another thing was the ribbon that girl used to tie herself to the door with; I completely agree with you that…
Yeah, I was really hoping and expected Gwi Nam to come out of the pile of roasted zombies in the end of the last episode or something and I really hope they bring him back, especially when you think about how he took so many falls and beat up and recovered like literally nothing happened and the research said you have to get rid of everything single cell for them to fully be gone so maybe he just got a little roasted on the outside but his insides still have something and he’ll come back. Who knows, but if he really doesn’t come back, I do think I would watch season two. I also kinda wanted the bullied girl and Gwi Nam to fight and then end up together, it would have been cool and made sense since they’re both so similar now.
And yeah, the ribbon zombie I think was literally added just so the officer could end up finding the baby there and have more of a difficult time escaping and to show how kind and noble he is. He was probably the only other character I kinda liked simply because he was funny and I think the show needed a bit more humor even if it is a gory zombie show.
I hated the man in Train to Busan who was constantly throwing people towards the zombies in a cowardly attempt…
Another thing was the ribbon that girl used to tie herself to the door with; I completely agree with you that it was way to flimsy and breakable, I was even thinking the same thing when I saw her grab it and start to tie herself. They even show at the part where they’re luring all the zombies to certain places that she breaks free and runs out of the restaurant. Why didn’t she break free when there were four humans right smack dab in front of her talking, moving around and arguing, but she can break free when drones make a certain noise? I just found it kinda ridiculous, but I still enjoyed the show regardless; I was basically only watching it for Gwi Nam by the middle XD
I hated the man in Train to Busan who was constantly throwing people towards the zombies in a cowardly attempt to live and although Gwi Nam did similar things, but it wasn’t necessary cause he was a coward and for some reason he ended up being my favorite character. And I know that sounds absolutely horrible to have the person who murdered a whole bunch of people and turned many others into zombies to be your favorite character, but he was just different from the people who were “we have to save everyone if not we aren’t worth anything” or the absolute cowards who were hiding under desks the entire time; he actually was being awesome and killing a whole bunch of zombies before he even became immune. It makes sense too that in that kind of situation you would look after yourself and your own safety rather than others.
And I was also expecting there to be a fight between Gwi Nam and the girl he had bullied since both of them were immune and crazy and she hated him so much. There was so much potential for it and when she put up her hair and put on lipstick I thought “oh boy, they’re definitely gonna end up fighting, can’t wait to see that!” But no. That would have been so epic, if it had happened. Instead they had a meh fight between him and Cheong San that ended in them being cooked like the rest of the zombies and the girl ended up eating the only person who actually cared about her, even if he was a bit cowardly, but what was he supposed to do, join her in going to meet their death just for some video no one would even care about? It was so lame compared to what they could have done.
I also kinda didn’t like the fact that Gwi Nam became all about Cheong San like some Highschool girl with a crush; I mean, it’s absolutely understandable that he would want to get back at Cheong San for gouging out his eye with the phone and with Gwi Nam’s personality and powers it’s even more understandable, but after he hunted them down for like the fifth time in the series with no actual results, it got way too redundant. There’s the three rule in stories for a reason; two times makes the goal seem too easy and anticlimactic, four times makes it too boring, three times is just enough times for it to be climactic and still exciting.
And although they’re high schoolers and all that, why was it necessary for them to constantly be thinking about their crush and how they liked someone else or were holding someone else’s hand? Honestly, it may just be me, but I’d be throwing worries about who my crush likes in the very depths of my mind and focus completely on ways to get out of the school or find food and water without being zombiefied.
