I feel like it’s alluding to that. I thought it wrapped up nicely. I don’t feel like we need to explore the past lives too much more. I’m happy either way. This was the first drama that I watched weekly. Normally, I can wait to watch it after the final episode has aired. But it was just too cute and I wanted my weekly dose of them.

I was wondering the same. So that was scene from a past life? Or, he’s a deity from heaven retrieving a book? Part 2?

I just finished episode 1. Thank you. Makes sense. I thought it was the other way (uncle in 18th life)! I don’t mind childhood crushes. But she just met the adult version and she’s already smitten with him? Seems odd, right? I can see wanting to reunite with an old friend. But already falling for him… I’ll try a few more episodes. The development of this attachment is one sided. I hope we see how his attraction is developed for her.

Just started this. Confused: they met in 17th life or 18th life? Was she really that lady’s uncle? Which life was that?

So I’m not alone. Well, beauty is subjective for sure. But , yeah, she doesn’t invoke romance whatsoever! At some angle, I can see she’s cute. Whatever, I just can’t believe we have so limited leading ladies nowadays that she is playing lead. Are the other FL’s just aging out? Hardly, when most look younger than their age and can play a 20 something well into their late 30’s!

My heart can’t handle this. I haven’t started but I’m reading snippets of tragedy. I think I’ll pass… I still can’t get over some endings already and usually don’t finish them because of endings.

Omg; are you serious?!?! So, should I keep at it? I finished the first episode. I’ve liked the ML since Rain or Shine. He’s been with many FL’s. This one is just not doing it for me. I read that the development of his attachment for her is also forced and weird. The rating is high but for what? The show hasn’t finished airing on NETFLIX. Is it available somewhere else? Yeah, I’ll keep trying. I feel this theme (rich boss falls for awkward insubordinate) is recycled over and over. She’s not exactly awkward as her character appears quite assertive/intelligent but something feels off.

Female lead is plain looking. How is there chemistry? Just started the show. And that smile… Ugh. Fake scary doll smile. I’ll keep at it.

Right. It is not a sweet lovey dovey romance. I still appreciated it for its many messages. I thought the voice overs were spot on to capture their journey. No innocent high school romance here. And, sadly, love or infatuation can have lasting consequences.

No, the editing of the scenes that were interjected did not make sense to me either. The conversation about dropping off mom at the airport??? Like, what? And, the hotel hookup scene. When was that occurrence? After the night walk on campus? I can see the inner turmoil and how choices and consequences can keep folks hostage forever... There were no winners here.

I am watching it now. I still don't know when the hotel room scene was supposed to have taken place. I was trying to see if I could tell by their outfits...

Not sure if you answered this... So, the new female lead - who's soul is actually in her body??? Mudeok or Naksu?

Just started season 2... Seriously, was it necessary to change the FL? She did not want to return? Did her body really die and somehow they saved the souls of Naksu and Jin Jin Bu Yeon??? So, this new FL is a combination or did Naksu perish for good?
