Currently on ep 22 and I have a quick question….Do the main leads ever spend more then 3 mins per episode together??
Great question. About to start… It’s so many episodes and I want to make sure it’s worthwhile. I like when the leads can connect and we get to see their relationship develop.
I endured it for Riley. FL was way too childish for me… No chemistry, IMO. Last two episodes dragged beyond anything. I actually started other series because I couldn’t take the illogical conversations/choices. Time and time again, these cute love stuff can only go so far for me. The very last scene was hardly celebratory. I wouldn’t bother had I known… And, the best friend’s sudden wedding with someone she knew within weeks? Many supportive cast members’ endings were left unknown… All that time… Sad for my waste. At most 6.5-7ish.
it's cute but nothing special tbh if you want romance with 0 problems it will be perfect. Only Erxi, Cao Guang…
Right. I’m at episode 19. On hold. Not sure if I’ll bother to finish. It’s just not all that alluring to me… Lots ofpretty looking folks to stare at but that’s all. Plot is not exciting enough for me
Jeez! How old is this drama?! I love Netflix’s wave of return to “old” stuff. It’s new to me!
Lol. I must remember that it was made awhile back… Dayum, that is quite old. I’m not opposed to older dramas if they were considered quality in their time. Thank you for sharing!
Season 2 is set 10 years after episode 18. So … "lacks that youthfulness" is moot. ;)
I share your exact thoughts. So stupid. Yes, I remember Ever Night.
One of my all-time favorite is joy of life. I am worried that they are going to change the cast on that as well. I’m not part of any group that has updates on all that’s happening in these Asian dramas… Where do I subscribe to keep up on these kinds of news?

Apparently so! Ten years would not have mattered! Take Avatar. The first one was released in 2009! The second one is being released this December. We’re talking 13 years! Main players are returning despite it being mostly CGI.
Wow… It’s been awhile since I’ve been this excited to see how the story unravels. I wish I could read the language. Such amazing storylines. I’d totally be content to just read the novels. I suppose it’s not too late to learn? If you’re on the fence about this, what are you waiting for? There’s only so many times that you can re-watch Joy of Life to buy time. Just so you know, I feel close to all of you who actually can enjoy these kinds of drama. Thank you for being here. Wow…
