Yall forget the title “HEESU IN CLASS 2” meaning seeing the world through the lens of Heesu. Also your take on queer BL standards is literally the standard for straight dramas also, it’s always within a self contained world or setting that revolves around the main couple.
Personally, I would rate this a 5. It fell short as an adaptation of a BL manhwa, and even its attempt at being a straight K-drama became nonsensical after the first five episodes.
Great writing where? Chan Young's tennis storyline and the unresolved issues with his dad were never properly explored or explained, leaving viewers confused about his father's resentment. There was no closure.
Chan Young was so self-centered and annoying that he made the series unbearable.
The dynamic between Heesu sisters and their lovers was explored but felt lackluster, mostly because it was hard to even understand what was going on.
Seungwon having two moms was brushed off far too easily, there was so much potential that just went down the drain.
Making Seungwon seem like a rebound was diabolical and insane. The queer storyline was dragged out unnecessarily. You can feature a BL relationship involving a minor and an adult without showing romance scenes, yet they failed to do that also.
I am satisfied with everything but with the end of Queen Dowager but then again I don't feel like she would have…
She clearly stated that “No one can punish her” she left the world on her own will! Did she deserve a harsher punishment for all she did? Yes but as long as everyone else got abit of closure! I think we are good 👍
I will definitely miss this! Showed us the ways the Queen is so important to the running of the empire like we have never seen before! The motherly love and strength against political schemes of the palace! It was so emotional and heartwarming. I would definitely recommend this!
Since the finale airs today! I loved everything about this series! The brotherly bond between Tian and Yang was the highlight for me Cuz at the end of the day, we all just need that one person beside us that understands us and loves us regardless. The relatability of so many scenes in the series moves me to tears everytime cuz life indeed is hard for we that are different. The series touched on so many topics from mother’s love and sacrifices to brotherhood, to rivalry, to greed, to Queer experiences and love! Give them their 10s
The chemistry between the two actors. The yearning in Zi Ang face and eyes 🥹 The storyline and acting is chef kiss.
« You love the one who hates you and hate the one who loves you. » « Aren’t you both? » How I bawled my eyes 🥹🥹🥹 This series is so poetic.
