I have a hunch that this is going to be a hit drama, everything looks promising, from the actors, story, crazy action... I am really looking forward to see it. :)
This show was so good surprise. :) I started to watch it because of Jun Ho, who is by the way awesome like always :), but now I am hooked. :) The mystery is a top-notch, cannot wait to see more of it. :)
Amazing first episode, I love when it is a love at first sight for me. :) Everything was so good, from the action scenes, music, mystery and actors, Jang Ki Yong was excellent and Nana is a nice surprise, hope it stays good as this first episode. :)
My new addiction :), in a long time I was not so immersed in the new drama, hope it stays exciting like now and of course Nam Goong Min is amazing beyond words. :)
I hate love triangles and tend to avoid dramas with that trope, it is okay for a few moments in a shows, but to make it a center of the drama is so annoying.
There is no other word then truly beautiful, when it comes to this show, from the story, which was so meaningful and intense, to the delightful OST, talented actors and to one of the most touching and satisfying endings in the K-dramas, it melted my heart. :) Encounter will definitely stay one of my favorite dramas ever. :)
The show gets just better and better. :) Their love is so beautiful and warm and cute and I just love they way he gives her the choices , he sees how much it is important to her, to be master of her own fate. He really sees her and understands her and there is no better thing in one relationship, then to be truly appreciated for who you are. :) I like how they are adorable together and how thanks to their love, they grow and bring out the best in each other and that is an amazing message about love, how life in two can become something truly magnificent if you are open, honest, brave and willing to value other person and their life and feelings. :) The ex-husband is a little bit pathetic, his mother ruined his life and because of that he is weak in Soo Hyun eyes and their is no worse thing then become weak in women's eyes, it is like a death sentence for love and romance.
Even though I am not a fan of rich/poor people storylines, this drama is slowly creating a comfy spot inside my…
Totally agree with you, I think that beauty of love is in countless different versions of that one special feeling, because love is not something written in stone, it depends how people see it, perceive it and experience it. :) The allure of good fiction , like in this case, is that it can capture people's imagination and influence them to think in a different ways and maybe even broaden their horizons. :)
When I think about the last episode, the word which comes to my mind is soft. :) While I was watching it, I had this feeling like when you are cold and you wrap yourself in warm blanket and the world just fades away, especially with the scenes of their stroll or that scene with a tie. Those were so heart fluttering moments and I cannot wait to see more. :)
Looking at the negative comments below I am a bit surprised as to how my taste in dramas can be so different from…
Agree with you, this kind of show cannot go without slow paced element, especially with the stories of our main leads. They are fighting society and prejudices and many other things and sometimes real love needs time. I think it is very realistic in terms of how they behave with each other, their is a mutual attraction and interest, but also a little bit of fear and uncertainty, which is perfectly normal when you are at the beginning of a new relationship. :)
Still great episodes, I love the chemistry and dynamics between the leads, especially the story of Soo Hyun, she is living in a gilded cage, but finally she is stepping out and fighting for herself. I am looking forward to further development of her character and of course their romance. :) Not to forget, Jin Hyuk is so lovable, it is refreshing to see someone who is satisfied with his life without complexes and heavy emotional drama.
Like Hina needs some logical reason to be attracted to Eugene :D, most of the time women fall for the men just…
I think it is a combination of all, she saw him and desired him, but he did not seemed interested in her and later Hina saw the real reason for that and it made her to want him even more. It is an ego thing, now it is more about her desire to triumph over Ae Sin , then to be with Eugene.
I read a book called lost you forever and EVERYONE shipped the FL with all 3 men and I couldn’t understand it…
Like Hina needs some logical reason to be attracted to Eugene :D, most of the time women fall for the men just because of their looks or something in their whole appearance and in the second they build a story in their heads about them and after 5 minutes they are married and deciding names for the children :D, but the trigger in this situation for Hina was that Eugene was not dazed at first sight of her or impressed by her charms and women like her, a true femme fatale have a problem with that, she is used to fact that all men are trying to seduce her and he did not do it and she was surprised and probably a little bit shocked. :D
Totally agree with you. :) I love slow burn romances, especially when people surprise you and you fall in love…
@amourexdile So true, I am so bored of the plots where female always gets some man and he is like an immature little boy and now she is going to play a mother, a lover, a healer, a friends and so on and she is going to make a man of him and fix him, so annoying. It is normal for people to grow in romantic relationship and to be better together in the end because of their love, but a man needs to come to her as a complete person, sadly it is not far from our reality, most of the time women are surrounded by men-children :D but from time to time we get to enjoy in these kind of stories, I just hope they will not ruin it in the end. :)
@Antonin you are so right, I watched a few shows and it was like, no, what are you doing, they had a great start, you do not need to ruin their relationship to make it more interesting. :D I think that writers do not know how to make a dramatic effect without that, but to me it is always more engaging to see how they grow together as a couple and nourish their love, without including fights over foolish misunderstandings, but only amazing writers can pull that kind of thing. :)
What a great movie, really interesting story, especially because it is based on true events and with this kind of narrative I think it brought that specific historical event in a engaging way to people who are not so familiar with this part of Korean history and maybe even made them to search more about this subject. :) The cast was amazing, but I was truly impressed with a Song Joong Ki, he stole every scene and I really felt his character, his dedication, but at the same time his humanity and vulnerability, I hope in the future he will get a chance to play more characters like this one. :)

That is the right word: self-aware, it is a powerful character trait. :) Yeah, that is why I stopped watching almost all Western shows, and I am just watching K-Dramas these days, there is something so bewitching and romantic in unspoken words and glances and when they finally hold a hand or kiss, it is so meaningful and truthful. :)
I stand by my initial assessment of Ae sin. She is a total badass- especially in episode 8. I think she and Eugene…
Totally agree with you. :) I love slow burn romances, especially when people surprise you and you fall in love with a someone, you can never imagine, just like Ae Sin and Eugene. :) Me too, but people always like that story with a bad boy and with a girl who is going to fix him and redeem him, I was always more a fan of a quiet and strong character, who knows his place in a world and who does not need fixing like Eugene. :)
