I'm really enjoying this drama so far, it's really cute! But tbh, they should have casted someone else for the FL, she's the weak link in here. Cheng Xiao needs to get more acting experience before taking on lead roles. She keeps showing the same expression throughout the entire drama. And no, it's not because of the voice dubbing that her acting seems weak like some people claimed, I'm talking about her facial expressions only. And why is she called "Smiling" when she never smiles? Even the supporting cast is acting better than her imo. It's such a pity, this drama could have been perfect with a stronger lead actress.
I'm not against idols entering the acting industry, but they should let them develop their skills in supporting roles first until they're really ready to take on main roles. Giving them main roles right from the start won't help anybody. The drama's quality will suffer and the idol will be labeled as someone who can't act. Even if she improves later on, it will be hard to get rid of that image.
Calling this anything but a masterpiece would be an understatement!! Absolutely beautiful. I didn't cry a lot,…
I second this!
I want to add to that, get a Netflix subscription if you don't have one yet and can afford it. Whether a show attracts a lot of new subscribers is also an important factor in measuring its success.
(I know I've posted this a few times already but there might be people who come to this comments section for the first time and haven't seen my old comments on this yet)
Let's get him to 1 million! The number of his followers has been increasing quite rapidly lately, so it's not impossible. The more popular he gets, the higher the chances that we'll soon get to see him in a new good project. If he becomes more popular, he'll definitely also get more offers for interesting projects that might appeal to him. Hopefully a rom-com for once, he's been dying to do one for years but didn't get any offers lol.
It's not sure yet if there will be a season 2, and if there will, they'll have to plan and film it first, so my guess is that the release would be in 2023. But better late than never!
If you want a season 2, watch the drama directly on Netflix and not on other sites, get a Netflix subscription if you don't have one yet and can afford it, and spread the word about this drama among your friends and acquaintances!
If the drama is successful, we'll very likely get a second season!
This drama made me cry and smile at the same time.I hope they make S2!!
Spread the word about this drama so that more people watch it! If it becomes a worldwide hit, the chances that we'll get a second season are very very high!
People binge-watched it, and when you do that, you usually get bored at some point, so your rating for the drama…
I binge-watched it too and I didn't get bored at all. I also haven't seen anyone else commenting that they got bored, so I'm not really convinced that this is the reason. Especially since the drama is short and the story tight.
If there's one thing to critisize about this drama, it's that Hong Seung Hee overacted a little imo. She did well for her young age, but Lee Je Hoon and Tang Jun Sang's performance was so outstanding that her shortcomings were quite visible. It didn't bother me much though since her role wasn't that important after all. And I'm in no way trying to say that she's a bad actress, she still did a decent job, but she just wasn't able to keep up with the two leading men.
Everybody is talking about Lee Je Hoon, and, with reasons. However, I want to talk about the young man that portrays…
Thank you for your comment! I was really impressed by Tang Jun Sang's acting, but I don't know any people on the spectrum personally, so I'm not able to judge how realistic his portrayal was. I'm really happy to hear that the depiction was correct.
Tang Jun Sang really needs to get a lot of praise. His acting felt really natural and he was able to keep up with Lee Je Hoon actingwise who is a world class actor and also more than twice as old as the boy. He has a bright future ahead of him and I'm sure he'll get a few awards for this drama.
8.5 really doesn't do this drama justice. It's a good rating, but compared to how dramas on this site are usually rated, it's way too low. I'm also wondering why it's only 8.5 when everyone is raving about it. I have barely seen any negative comments so far.
Why would she send Mr Wang to find that guy? He was in danger so all she did throw this innocent man under the…
It was mentioned before that he used to be a pro wrestler and as we saw, it was no big deal for him to knock down one villain. Both Ha Na and him weren't aware that there is a second person and if it weren't for the twin, he wouldn't have died. So I don't think we can say Ha Na deliberately put her assistant in danger.
But they should have tapped and/or monitored the guy who tried to get the info and have police on standby near the location in case something goes wrong or something like that.
God, Lee Je Hoon, your amazing!! I respect you so much for taking on this project, showcasing societal issues.…
Indeed. He really stands out among the crowd of great actors with the projects he chooses. Most of his projects are based on true stories, raise awareness about societal issues and/or represent minorities. I really respect him for that.
