Well, he really did tell Do San words to make him misunderstand that he and Dal Mi are in a relationship. But he asks himself right after what the hell he just did and then calls Dal Mi and tells her about it and apologizes to her.

Exactly. Since he didn't want Do San to see her crying because she would have hated it.

Dal Mi starts crying in front of Ji Pyung about why Do San had to come back right when she was in her most pathetic state.

I checked Korean comments below the Start-Up clips on tvn's official Youtube channel a few days ago and they were like 90% pro-Ji Pyung. Don't know about other places though.

The numbers aren't being updated every second. We might see different numbers after some minutes or hours (I'm not sure how long it takes).

Maybe MDL filtered out and deleted some multiple accounts who belong to the same people? I bet there are quite a few people who create additional accounts just to push up the ratings of their favorite shows.

Edit: Or it's the other way round and some haters are creating multiple accounts just to bring down the ratings of some popular shows.

The FL was almost as bad as Do San and the ML also suffered unfairly till the bitter end. And the entire plot was just as messy lol. At least the topics tackled there weren't as severe as those in Start-Up (as in how it could be misleading the youth I mean).

It will never drop as low as 5. Even the worst drama of the year so far still stands at 7.3. If anyone is curious what I'm talking about, spoilers for What Is Love? below.
