I think people were waiting till the end to decide on their ratings. It has increased to 8.6 I think it was around 8.3 at the start

I agree with what you said the hate they received was quite out of proportion, I never said it was right but what I'm saying is people should be allowed to say "this is offensive to my culture" without some obsessive fans going like why are you overreacting it's not a big deal. If people don't call it out they'll just continue to misrepresent. People also should've reacted in a better way ofcourse. Rather than the hate they should've tried explaining why it was offensive but it's internet and people don't think over their words too much. Hopefully the next time production will do appropriate research.

The people who are saying "it's just fiction" yes but the culture they misrepresented is real. People have every right to be mad about how it was portrayed. The continuous misrepresentation only adds to the general stereotype. The actors don't deserve the hate but it should be called out. Every person gets angry when it's THEIR culture that's presented wrongly. So don't tell other people they're being 'overly sensitive'.
