Exactly, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What’s perfect to one can be flawed for another.
And we can love something without thinking everything about it is perfect.

Personally I think what upset me the most was that he married and had sex with the Empress. I felt like it was a whole new level of humiliation and pain for Chu Wanning knowing his feelings.

I understand, non con scenes in particular can be truly upsetting.
I’m glad the translator put warning at the beginning of every chapter, it’s very thoughtful.

It’s definitely not fair, and I’m sure they do the same with BL. It’s already censored and they’re still acting like that.

But I think the good thing about it being not as popular as BL is that it won’t attract too much attention and it will less likely be targeted. Even if some people will try to diss it, it won’t be too much people. Look at the rating now. It’s higher because there are more people liking it than people hating it.

Honestly yeah, there was no other reason since it wasn’t even subbed yet and only two episodes were out. No reason to give it a bad rating.
It’s really upsetting.

I think most antis are BL antis / homophobes. And maybe some people who absolutely hate the novel.
But I don’t get that mentality. Don’t like it, don’t watch it.

Look at Couple of Mirrors (GL). The rating was so low when it started airing and we’re pretty sure it’s homophobes who did that. And the drama isn’t even very popular.

It was the upcoming of HYX that decided me to finally read 2HA. I don’t like angst so without that I’m not sure I would’ve read it.

(I was so angry when the fluff stopped and the pain started again, haha. But at the end of the day I’m obsessed with the characters and their love.)
