Si boring
Honestly, this drama bored me to death. It had an interesting premise, and let’s be honest—the two leads are very attractive. But everything feels far too slow, overly restrained, and most of all emotionally empty. The main relationship takes forever to develop and almost never builds any real tension or attachment. The workplace storyline drags and isn’t particularly engaging, and the introduction of the ex only adds frustration—especially since the scene between the ML and his ex is more intense than anything the main couple ever delivers. There’s more chemistry between the ex, who shows up out of nowhere, and the ML than in the central relationship, which is honestly quite telling.
As for the secondary couple, it often made me uncomfortable. The dynamic—a young adult who looks and behaves almost like a teenager paired with a much older, well-established man—feels off. Even though this is where most of the “romance” happens, it didn’t work for me at all, as it often gave the impression of a borderline inappropriate relationship.
There are a few cute moments between the main couple, but they’re so rare I could count them on one hand. The lack of progression and real payoff makes the whole experience frustrating.
In the end, yes, they’re nice to look at—but the story and execution feel hollow. A lot of build-up for very little reward.

All Tension, No Release
Overall, I feel a bit mixed about this drama. It had a solid foundation and offered several genuinely emotional moments, but it leaves quite a lot unsaid and sometimes lacks real payoff, which can be a little frustrating. The story relies heavily on restraint and unspoken feelings, which works at times but also ends up holding back both the characters and their relationship development. The actors have good chemistry and do a solid job with the material they’re given, but the writing doesn’t always allow that chemistry to fully unfold. It’s still touching in parts, though I wish it had been a bit bolder and gone further emotionally. Was this review helpful to you?
Chemistry That Breaks All Rules
I loved it – it’s a real favourite of mine!I usually hate stories about infidelity, but in this case, I was more like, ‘Go for it, guys!!’. I loved the way it’s all staged; it’s superbly written – touching, sincere, poetic, intense, unsettling – and wonderfully performed by the two lead actors!
Their relationship, the way they grow closer – it’s all believable. It’s complicated – one is in a relationship, the other is in love – but so human and realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
