Overall Impression: Plot is actually pretty good, leads are great. Now if they continue toning down some of the OTT slapstick silliness 🤪 from the earlier episodes - it might end up being a solid drama.

MDL had a different synopsis up yesterday. But they had the genders switched so they took it down. But here it is. I corrected for the genders and names “The story follows Jin Bai Wan a top assassin in the martial arts world who loses her memory and becomes a humble cook. She later meets the extraordinarily cunning and scheming qin master Qu Zheng. Despite countless trials and tribulations they eventually come to understand each other’s true feelings and decide to join forces to defeat evil and reaffirm justice.” Don’t know the accuracy since I’m only on ep 3. But FL did lose her memory, was a cook and ML is a cunning fox (smarts-wise not an actual animal) that does carry a qin everywhere he goes as well. 😊

The ML. But he isn’t an actual fox. The FL said to him that he is “cunning like a fox” 🦊

BTW… I’m watching this on IQIYI to avoid the rather creative license Mango sometimes uses in their sub-title interpretations. 🤣🤣🤣

Okkkaaayyyy….So the posted synopsis is incorrect. Watching First 5 minutes of the drama and it’s the FL who loses HER memory 5 years ago and is a humble cook. I was originally thinking she would be a great match for the assassin turned cook who loses “his” memory per posted synopsis, bc the actress did great in the fighting scenes from Sword & Fairy 1. Cool- this FL will totally be able to pull off being an assassin 👍👍👍

This assassin turned cook better have a much happier ending than … cough… cough… that other assassin turned cook ML drama. 🤣🤣🤣

Just found out from another watcher that this is FZX’s voice used in the drama and he also sings the theme song “Moon” for this drama as well. 🎶🎶🎶

Holy tomatoes 🍅 ! He’s only 25! My Lethal Man was the one that sealed the deal for me with him and he must have been only 23ish while filming. Agree FZX was absolutely fabulous in Present, Is Present. The other actor I was also truly shocked with age and their already seasoned on screen presence is Wang Xing Yue.

Stay away from A Journey To Love! Most shell-shocked ending for me, was that drama!

That was definitely a heartbreaker 💔💔💔 to an almost perfect short length drama

I adore the vibe and style of the slow-motion scenes paired with the music and smoldering glances. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

I figured she had to have some sway with casting when we saw the mutil-collaboration with Zhao Yi Qin which was awesome! He absolutely slayed those roles! Agree have loved the casting choices with her dramas.. cough… cough…see my avatar. And wouldn’t mind seeing another future multi-collaboration with Fan Zhi Xin 🫶🫶🫶

Agree!!! Opening scene of the drama… this was my exact thought process. ML didn’t really stab the FL did he?!? Nah…He stabbed the pouch, right?!? No way would we have a ML who does this… ML could just knock the FL out instead… no wounds! .Nope the knife is in there too deep and yup there is blood. 🩸Total savage ML we have here. Red flag 🚩 warning. And I don’t mind a bit. 👍👍👍
