Thx- was suspicious of MDL rating especially when you were still sticking with it. 👍

How is the drama? Im in the middle of ep 1 and am intrigued so far.

That was a confusing edit where the scene quickly cut to a flashback. It was FL’s mother standing next to the nanny, both looking at 5th Madam dead on the bed.. Where I thought initially it was FL’s sister standing next to the nanny and 2nd madam on the bed. bc I assumed we were still in the present. The nanny definitely died after her whipping.

Crush was another excellent drama done by this director that I’d recommend 👍

*Within the first 1-2 days it dropped all the way down to 7.9- which was a shame. I agree with another poster- the drama is getting even better. Hope it stays solid as I binge towards the current episodes 🌸

Still a bit behind only on episode 10, but glad the rating came up from 7.9 when it first dropped- Def the sign of a good drama. BTW Beautiful cinematography... the production team should be really proud. ❤️❤️❤️

Me neither! ♥️Even though I adore the FL since Melody of Golden Age...

Good point as well!

Whoever edited the tags part of this drama page must be a HUGE Ryan Ding fan (which I highly approve of❤️❤️❤️)... I laughed when I saw SIX Male Lead tags posted and only ONE for the FL, 🤣🤣🤣

Just when I think we are finally headed for some predictable storylines in the last 5 eps… nope! 🙈

I’m on episode 7. Im now pretty sure he did those things on purpose in eps 1/2 to create chaos to throw the audience off guessing the plot. BC it’s settled completely down after ep 3. But thank you for the director’s background, that def helps me with perspective.

On ep 4 of Phoenix 🐦‍🔥… I was going to stop after ep 1 bc I was jolted by the director's vibe (not in a good way). Glad I kept going. Im loving the plot, cast and especially the screen presence of the leads- both on their own and together. I think this is the first time that I am saying this... but the director is the weak link of the production. So if you can accept some frustration of watching a director that reminds me of a teenage cinema student... carry on! This drama is a blast!!!

Wait… they actually hired He Yu to play a character… frail in body?!? 😂🤣😂

Loved ❤️this ML in Burning Flames/Dashing Youth (he's a very pretty actor... who can actually act!) . Loved❤️ this FL in Jades Fateful Love... so will def give this one a try.

Great point! "She is used to make decisions alone, brainstorming problems only with her imaginary friend." 👍

Y A Y ! ! ! ! 💫 L E T’ S Goooooooooooo! 🚀

Ohhhhh. That's a great look for him!

I def enjoyed the vertical teasers from the contestants in the 1st ep more than those from ep 2 contestants... 😃

Anyone who is curious about hui ink-making should watch this video! Hang the ink sticks for half a year to air?!? Great post 👍👍👍

Yes that sucked… but ❤️ that grandad was just chillin’ with his tea 🫖 b/c he knew with 1000% certainty… his girl got it covered.
