If Wang Xing Yue wasn’t already a triple-threat in insane talent, rare magnetic charisma, and dramatic good looks… I might feel insecure if I were him- because all the other actors came to this drama with gloves off and are dropping amazing performances! BTW…. much appreciation for the extra hard work the bare-chested actors had to put in. Bravo!!! 👏👏👏Whoop Whoop!!! 🙌🙌🙌

The synopsis made this a little confusing TBH. From my understanding after watching four episodes…see synopsis below. (Which I will change/delete if wrong)

Hidden Gem of a drama! Definitely worth watching. ML is outstanding as always. ❤️❤️❤️ him as an actor. Bonus… he has two shower scenes so far🔥🔥🔥. FL is great as well.

Just want to make a quick comment on production visuals. I love the sets, the intricate details put in place with CGI. The costumes are excellent and look/fit great on the actors . Also love the way the costumes flow and move while the actors are walking/moving. (Miles looks sooooooo much 🔥🔥🔥 here than in Lady Revenger and I especially appreciate the deeper v-neck costume on Shi Kuan - Yay Us!!!) Hair and makeup is superb with some especially fun eye make up used.

Couple times I remember end of ep 2/ beginning ep 3. Also briefly ep 11.

Might be in the minority on this board. But I’m really enjoying the plot and storyline of this drama.

I haven’t been this excited for something to be released since The Last Jedi in 2017. And well… that didn’t work out so well. 🫠

In all seriousness- I’m really enjoying the plot and storyline of this drama.

Wowzers… gratuitous upper body shot of the doctor in ep 10. The actor was hiding quite the pair of guns 💪💪💪 and a six-pack underneath his robe! Who knew!!! 👏👏👏

There were 1 if not 2 Kiss to fade scenes on the bed tropes implying they did sleep together in earlier episodes. It was confusing in ep 17 when she said they weren’t sleeping together but she meant at present not past and not to spoil for others, the ML explains to the older male head servant why he is avoiding her due to the situation at hand.

ML character celebrates his 30th bday in an episode. I don’t know the Fl character’s exact age

My first thought on reading this synopsis was Yay! I can’t wait! I ❤️ these two leads! My exact thought after watching the first couple of episodes was, why on earth did they choose this drama? I was a little disappointed. Not in their acting, but in how the production choose to execute the plot. I stuck with it cause I completed Blossoms In Adversity and was waiting for the new episodes of Will Love in Spring. And I am glad I did- the plot is heading in an interesting direction and now I’m finally waiting for THESE episodes to drop, especially after watching ep 14. 😉

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this drama. If you start, make sure you get past at least episode 3 cause thats when it really kicks in. If you aren’t feeling it by episodes 4-5 than this might not be the drama for you. Be ready to experience a wide range of emotions from second hand embarrassment to cackling like a fool and having a big smile on your face from the leads interactions and then feeling more heavy types of emotions from scenes that are going to come when the ML is a mortician. I have to say I really like that these modern Cdramas are finishing around episodes 21-24. Something I would never be happy with for historical/costume dramas. Those definitely need more episodes to tell a better story.

I agree! I loved the OST! If anyone can post the links that would be great. I still can’t find it either.
