honey have you ever seen penguins, lions etc. they all gay
One of the most closely related species to humans, like bonobos, is 99.6% similar to humans. The females literally have the majority of their sex with other females; they just have sex with males to make babies or stop them from getting violent. Female Japanese macaques, 93% similar to humans, have long-term romantic relationships with females. If you're wondering why wlw couples have great sex and straights don't, maybe it's because of this. Also, maybe you have wondered why stats show that 40 percent of the people that watch porn are women and the only porn women watch around the world is lesbian, again maybe because women are naturally wlw but because of comphet from society, media we conform to heteronormativity. There are female same-sex bird couples that have families too.

Respect to Niky, she is out, doing a GL, but still working as an idol. (Most idols that are sapphic officially come out after they have quit being an idol.)

I loved the pilot, but this is a BIG change from the novel. First of all, they are not ex-girlfriends in the novel, just rivals. Secondly, there are no supernatural elements in the novel. I wonder if the mummy is real or some type of hallucination or nightmare. If it's real, then it's a huge difference from the novel; the novel is more realistic and based in science. I wonder why they chose this novel if they are going to make such a different story? I wonder who is writing the script? The novel is honestly a little boring sometimes, so these changes, if done well, will make this a much more entertaining series to watch. Hopefully, whoever is writing the script is good enough to pull this off.

They acknowledged in a parody way the criticism GL has gotten for having too much drama, so It seems like they have decided to remove most of the drama from the novel and just make it a pure romcom.

Because of her trauma
she thought they were going to have sex since that it is what she is used to having to do. She has left her home and has trauma caused by SA by her own mother. This has psychologically messed her up. It isn't an excuse, what she did was obviously wrong, like Megumi says in the scene. But, severe Trauma can fuck you up mentally, this is just a fact. At least she stopped when she understood that Megumi didn't want to have sex. She grows and improve over the rest of the series and it has a sweet romance with a happy ending. I understand how this scene could be shocking to some but the rest of the series will be worth watching as long as you can deal with some darker themes with the romance.

I literally stopped watching right after that scene. I feel like most writers wouldn't dare have a scene like…
I will repeat what I wrote: Both the novel and script was written by women and it is also directed by a woman. They also had a lesbian lgbt supervisor and a female intimacy coordinator for their sex scenes. There was nothing about the way it was shot that was "titillating". It was scary and that was intentional. The series has a sweet romance with a happy ending, so it ends up being great rep because their love is able to overcome so many things.

I don't even know where to begin with this... First of all there was nothing about the way it was shot that was "titillating". It was scary and that was intentional. Secondly, yes, trauma can fuck you up, it's not an excuse, it's just a fact. She uses sex to get a place to sleep and assumed Megumi wanted sex like all the others. At least she stopped when she understood that she didn't want it. She's is obviously messed up but will grow over the rest of the series. Yes, I have read the novel. SA happens between women too. If you can't deal with the subject matter then don't watch it but that doesn't mean it isn't of great quality. It has a sweet romance with a happy ending, so it ends up being great rep because their love is able to overcome so many things. Both the novel and script was written by women and it is also directed by a woman. They also had a lesbian lgbt supervisor and a female intimacy coordinator for their sex scenes.

Title Call Me by No-Name Spoiler
For anyone that needs to understand SPOILER: the love interest has experienced SA caused by her mother. The story has a sweet romance with a happy ending, but it does deal with some serious issues. Her saying that the police do not take SA between women seriously was foreshadowing about her own experiences with her mom. I also think she assumed Megumi wanted sex from her since that is how it has always been for her. Anyway, she is obviously a character that has trauma with a messed up perspective on relationships and consent, but she will grow over the rest of the series. As long as the subject matter is ok for you then this looks like it could be the best GL we have gotten so far. Please don't give it a low rating just because it deals with subject matter that YOU can't deal with. That does NOT change the fact that it is of great quality. Btw, both the novel and script was written by women and it is also directed by a woman. They also had a lesbian lgbt supervisor and a female intimacy coordinator for their sex scenes.

I swear what is with people on this site not having the emotional intelligence to watch a series about flawed complex humans? It's like everything has to be packeged perfectly. Is there no room on this site for art? For real psychological depth?

Because she has trauma. Just because it's uncomfortable doesn't mean it isn't real. and what do you mean there are no sa in straight series anymore there are tons of it??

If you want GL to continue to be produced, then support it by watching it legally. It matters.

Great production and acting as always but way too short as always...
If that bothers you then simply wait until the whole series is out and watch it like a long movie😊
