I found the webtoon but all the episodes aren't translated yet, I've just started it but im expecting a sad ending.

Don’t jinx it

I wasn’t all that excited for this before, but I just saw the teaser and now I’m invested!

Everyone is angry because the show is problematic and racist also have you seen the original webtoon it over sexualizes a high school student (which the show does too,but not to the extent as the webtoon) and if so many people are complaining isn’t it obvious that there is a problem?

It’s racism when a certain people and their culture is being mocked Eun moon suk’s character did blackface and was made to seem like a “dirty” character even taking flies out of his hair. If that isn’t racism then what is? It is also promoting stereotypes and a bad mindset and when it comes to age gaps I don’t mind when it’s done right,and by that I mean as long as it’s done between two adult consenting characters.Ive already stated my problems with goblin,but at least in goblin, high school students weren’t over sexualized(I’m still not a fan of the show tho)and when it comes to Mr.sunshine though the age gap was huge both were still adults. And let’s say a show did have romance between a minor and an adult,it shouldn’t be portrayed as something okay or normal it should be made clear that it is toxic and wrong (not to mention disgusting)

Also I have a question in the first episode,Dae-hyun falls asleep after the he drinks the beverage the Saet-byul gave him, did she drug him or was he just tired?

*sigh* Since when was not accepting blatant racism considered being over sensitive?And an age gap wouldn’t be a problem if both characters and actors are not underage but in this case Saet-Byul was a minor and she kissed the ML he didn’t even try to push her away and even replied when she asked for his phone number though he did seem to regret it later on.

But then again when it comes to problematic characters and huge age gaps no one talks about how Yi-seo kissed Saeroyi when he was unconscious, and everyone talks about this dramas FL being obsessed with the ML technically Yi-seo was obsessed with Saeroyi too, not to say that Saet-Byul isn't problematic, she certainly is.When it comes to huge age gaps Goblin takes the cake he's like 900 years older than her!The main reason I'll probably drop this is due to the blatant racism and cultural appropriation.

Honestly I don't think ill continue this series, for obvious reasons

Hopefully this parallel universe drama won't let us down.In OCN we trust!
