oh wow i really was surprised Lee Jong Suk was on this list. He was my first kactor crush (i shit you not, i had dreams of him lmao) since he starred in my first kdrama ever: Doctor Stranger. He's such a big name in the industry now, but i guess you always gotta start at the bottom wow.
i really want to understand the criteria for "chemistry" when it comes to romance. it usually feels like it when…
chemistry is when you feel tension between them even if they're doing the most mundane things. it's how they look at each other (not too cold, not too cheesy), their body language, their dialogue... it's that spark between them that shows clearly that they are into each other. i'm not sure how that is accomplished, tbh.
Yes! I hate gender bender and body swap too! I can tolerate a body swap if it's really, really, really done well. A gender bender on the other hand... it just bothers me. When the guys starts falling for the girl but he thinks she's a guy... I mean, if he's gonna be gay, make it a BL story. If he's gonna be straight, just let him see the freaking girl underneath. It creates this confusion that i just don't enjoy watching. My most recent example of this was Love in the Moonlight (that i only watched for Park Bo Gum), and though it started off pretty funny, they dragged out the reveal for way too long and it became a little disturbing to me at one point. Also, no one would EVER mistake Kim Yoo Joung for a man, EVER.
