Maybe you don’t understand my point. Yes is her work but is a disappointment they are changing so much and she is letting them. We are going to go in full circle because I’m going to repeat is not her work anymore. Is like you writing a school report and I come and rewriter it. I just stay using the main’s lead name and that he is a pilot. But the plot is completely different. Why I call her a sell out is that money won over art over passion. Sadly she won’t be the first or last. The writing world has many authors like this, they lose that love for writing because they only want to make money. They resort to even bullying their competition.

1 I can call her a sellout if I want! Because that’s what she is! The drama being portray at the screen is nothing she wrote basically is only the characters names which aren’t even her original idea.
I’m mad because they didn’t do justice to the characters. And nope seojun was her first kiss and he was the one who told her that it didn’t matter how she look and they they gave those moments to Soo hoo, she will probably never even date Seo Jun or even like him. that’s not reworking around they are re reading the whole story. Well let me tell you I applaud the CITT writer and not the True Beauty one, she is a sell out. Is like you are a make up artist you do make up on a model and just someone comes and removes the make up and start all over and you being okay with it just because you already got paid. Like Picasso letting someone paint over here and there on his painting. She preferred money over art. Overall what is being portrayed is not her work.

Exactly!! But I don’t know if you notice that is super rare that the lead girl kisses two male leads in Asian dramas. Not just Kiss but also date and if they do is at the beginning and the writers turn them into douchebags to excuse them breaking up so the lead girl can be with the lead guy.
So here what they are doing is just giving Su Ho the screen time so he would probably leave for one episode or two, meaning less time with Seo Jun. we already In episode 8 if they wanted to fit the timing of the webtoon
By episode 3 Su Ho would be Bye bye and come back hmm around episode 15 maybe. But they messed up big time with that freaking kiss.

Once again is proven how the people that are behind doing/producing kdramas try too much to make the lead girl just too naive or maybe I should say pure, pure for the main lead guy. Her lips have to be pure for the Main Lead guy, probably here she won’t even kiss Seo Jun, if they even date *Rolling my eyes*. I hope I’m wrong because I’m sick and tired of this happening in series, dramas, movies and books and not just Asian ones. Pure girls that’s what they want, if you kissed or date before you must be a hoe!
Changing the whole scene timing to Eunwoo being the center focus so far when mostly he would of been out of the picture by now. The kissing scene when we know in the webtoon the first kiss was with SeoJun. (I know because they tell me)

1. Eunwoo is my bias from Astro so is nothing against him.
2. I didn’t watch the webtoon so is not that.

It’s just that they always do this! Same with Cheese in the Trap (I love Kang Joon) but I understood why the people said they dislike how it was different with the webtoon. That they were Mad that the attention shift to IN HO.
The remake of The liar and his lover (they made the lead guy so bubbly when he was closed off in the movie rarely smiled!) , the other Japanese remake which there was kind of incest in it they went and change that, because of course there isn’t such thing in their world of perfection.

Like this could of been totally a complete different drama if they would of just changed the names, why even waste money paying the creator of the webtoon and bother with naming it True beauty! When is not even remotely close.

Don’t come at me saying why compare it! This is a remake/adaptation is in possible not to do it when is too many changes.

Agree! for me Beside the guys recently friendship I don’t find it entertaining. I understand why he is so closed off on his feelings, Im pretty sure with those parents he never learn how to show emotions and how to receive them. Like on the scenes where our lead girl hugged him and he was taken at back. When the girl coach ruffled his hair. With any skin ship he is taken back (caught off guard). But also that makes very difficult to get to really know him. As he is so straightforward with his opinions but not his emotions. Here is when the lead girl comes in and tries to “save” him. But she is a girl who yes is not a doormat but also can’t really help herself. We don’t know much of her background so I don’t know her that much yet besides her trying to save our lead guy and that’s she stands up for herself. But the plot where is it really going? I feel like I watch each episode and really nothing happens.
The secondary guy looking for the secondary girl, and she acts un interested, and Her brother acts of jealousy over her. This has been going on for a few episodes.
The lead guy’s dad being a douchebag, and the mom acting like everything is okay.

Well how you said you’re entitled to your opinion, and that’s the beauty of having an open mind and maturity. Accepting that everyone is different. I’m glad you enjoying it so much. But I didn’t say nothing about each character individually, but on each episode nothing really happens just like the kdrama Kairos. No romance development and so far neither has had any character growth. But again what I find boring you May find fun.

There’s a few that has the perfect mixture of both.

Okay I’m not going to stop watching because both leads are such visuals but omg am I the only one finding this drama draggy and boring. It has its moments but besides the cliffhangers they give at the end of every episode this drama would be very boring.

Also I hate how it’s three episode of twenty minutes each making it like one full episode (1 hour long) per week.

I never said I’m not enjoying the drama but it’s hard separating and not comparing when is a adaptation. If people didn’t see the first version they can fully enjoy it. Like me with True Beauty I don’t mind how it’s being adapted even if it has a lot of changes because I didn’t read the webtoon. But the webtoon readers are mad about that much change saying it can pass as a totally new drama with no adaptation involved.

I’m liking it, I mean is more bubbly and the actors are better looking.
But what made the angst real in the first version was the lead guy coldness towards the lead girl, here even on the first episode you can notice he likes her. He even smiles a lot when looking at her. On the first version he rarely smiles. I’m missing that angst, actually I like her more with the second lead. I love Yo han and he Is doing amazing but is just the script, the adaptation.

Are they recording the episodes only one week ahead? Because if they already had the episodes recorded it wouldn’t matter if one of the actors or staff are infected. I mean it matters like poor human but I mean it shouldn’t matter to release the episodes. Maybe it is because of the New Years.

Well let’s just wait and see, sometimes they promise season two and they don’t do it. Some of this actors are Kpop idols and are busy. Also I was only interested in this for Younghoon and I didn’t like he liked the lead girl and if he is going to hang on on that dumb crush I probably won’t watch season two if he is in it.
